So as I am a member of the Nazarene church we just recently had Nazarene Youth Convention in St. Louis this summer. (If there is anyone that went, right on razz )
But one major thing I took away from it is giving everything to God....trust me its been long and hard but I think I am getting there.
I am sure many others have heard this or are trying to do it themselves but I just thought i would like to bring up a little discussion/support for it. Its one major point in belief in Christ.
So there we go...and were off razz
(BTW Pirate and the rest of the non-believer crowd feel free to bring up discussion in this thread but please no debates razz thx)

No debates? Aww... you're no fun. Just kidding. So... discussion... umm... without debate? Not really much to talk about in this case, really... I'd likely be shot on the spot, consider the shirt I'm wearing right now... So yeah... What does God want with everything? I thought the big guy upstairs had it already... meh. But now I'm sure I'm going to get yelled at... happened before... about the whole symbolicism behind it... no one's actually sacrificing goats or small children... I mean... ninja

I feel like a pack leader suddenly. Arooo----!
So, Ravenclaw... Do you actually give up material posessions to God or do you mean "giving everything" as in, sort of, entirely trusting and confiding in God? I'm not really familiar with the Nazarene church, so I'm not really clear...
