In waters deep, and yet unknown
An island lies, where none have gone
Waves form walls to barricade
From all outside, the land withdrawn

Early, sinks the sun each day
Quickly, fleet the clouds in fear
The wolves` own howling muted, lest
The strange man from his ruins hear

He sits alone within the mess
His fangs grown longer with each year
His body aching, scarred and worn
The stone below him stained with tears

He remembers a time, now long past
When love was something he knew well
And though he knows he can`t go back
He sometimes catches the faint smell

Of roses, blood, and cannabis
Of purple eyes and of black hair
Of greener grass and bluer sky
Before he knew such bleak despair

The taste of skin upon his tongue
The sound of laughter in his ears
But, like all else, it soon turns gray
He`s lost all that he once held dear

~I'm going to add a lot more here~

Desperation gnaws at his skull
Quickly, on his feet, he stands
He`s ready now to end it all
To leave this vile, ugly land

~And I'm going to add a lot more here.
