sonata are freaking good, iced earth rock, and blind guardian super rock
but the rest are not good for me

I've heard all of them.. All of them are my favourites.. And by the way, are you guys sure that you've never heard of Dio? He's considered one of the Godfathers that starts Metal.. biggrin

yeah some say he is the godfather of metal but for me if i would say that it would be like giving a slap in the face of metal, its a disgrace sorry

I know and love all of those bands except Blind Guardian. I especially love Maiden and Sonata Arctica! Although I still love Nightwish most of all!!

I grew up on a lot of that music. I also do a HELL of a cover of Paranoia by Black Sabbath.

I love Rainbow in the Dark, but the few other Dio songs I've heard haven't really impressed me, same with Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
I've heard a couple of Blind Guardian songs, which I have rather liked, but
I've never heard of Helloween, Iced Earth, or Sonata Arctica, although I'm going to go look them up now
