This is a bit of a continuation of Wings and Wanderers. Once again it is a private RP between myself and Doodle, and our beloved lions Akiona and Dakota (respectively).

Akiona waited until the dead of night to sneak out of Rose Wings, silent tears running down her cheeks. Rhys was rather predictable in his sleeping habits, and in the deep of night, it was quite easy for her to leave the land. He meant the best, truly, he was just concerned.
But the last thing needed on Akiona's 'for your own good' list was being kept away from her mate. Though she and Dakota weren't actually mates... She had offered him her heart on that first night they had met... And would never feel about another male the way she felt about him.
The very thought that Rhys would escourt her about the lands made her heart tighten. He had absolutely no desire for her to be with a 'strange and dangerous male' such as her beloved Dakota. And so she ran, deep into the sweet solitude of night. Far enough away from the pride she no longer feared discovery, she threw herself into the emerald grass, and wept. Perhaps if she knew were to find the male she so loved, things would be different.
"I love you Dakota." She confessed to the empty night, and the sky full of stars. "I'm so sorry, I don't know if I'll ever even see you again...
