Closure Of A Nightmare Welcome to the final stop before the final shut down of Site B. This is the last mini plot that will finish off whatever is left of this guild. Its been a great run guys and once this is finished all the threads will be locked with the exception of a new area which will be opening up called the Visitors Centre. The guild will be opened to the public and the name changed to Site B: Chronicles. This will serve as a constant reminder of all that we have done. In effect this place will become a museum where anybody can read the events and the plots and then post in the visitors centre and discuss what they thought of this place. So without further ado I give you:Closure Of A Nightmare

Re-Cap With the town that housed Revival Incorporated destroyed by Chi Vu Tze and her rampage for revenge against the people who left her for dead at Facility X things were bleak. The final nail in the coffin was X- his return threw the Site B crew into complete chaos and tore them apart from the inside out. One has to wonder if this was part of X's plan all along. Tao was apparently dead and Bono along with other members of Revival Inc had perished in the horrific fight for survival. At a memorial service for the fallen members a familiar face showed up- Carmel Von Sant. Claiming she wasnt a clone and had been brought back to life by X and his labtechs.
With Site B Version 2 up and running and Revival Inc in pieces it didnt take long for Retloc, Krusgi and Shinzo to discover that a mysterious door at the end of a hallway led to a captive Tao who was being experimented upon by X in a bid to create a successor to X's lifes work- the H2K virus. After a daring rescue attempt by Shinzo, Retloc and Ksrugi things went haywire- Tao was rescued and the group fled to the derelict Site B building. Ksrugi unfortunately had been captured by Tommy Vox- a now loyal employee of X. Carmel who had mysteriously appeared at a memorial service after Revival Inc helped him to escape.
Things in Site B were not going well- Taos mind was an utter mess- he was barely able to move. The last thing Tao remembered was being told Retloc was a spy- jumping to conclusions Tao pieced a flawed story together in his fragile mind. He convinced himself that Retloc had been the one experimenting on him and that the rescue was just a sick twisted game. After recovering a little energy Tao left Site B and swore revenge on Retloc and the others for their so called betrayal. He arrived at V2 and informed X of the groups where abouts in exchange for a cure to whatever Tao had been infected with. His wish was granted and he was soon at full health and on his way to Site B by X's side to finish off his former colleges.
This is where our story picks up. Tao, X and Tommy have arrived via the underground train system at the original Site B with the intentions of finishing off Retloc, Ksrugi and Braveshinzo who have already been warned by Carmel of X's impending arrival.

Character History For This Event Since this event has been a long time coming I figure it may be helpful to everybody if I do just a brief recap of what everybodies character has done. This is just brief since I cant remember all the details. I know some peoples recaps arent here because I cant remember who else did what else since Revival Inc was shut down. Bear in mind that everybody is welcome for this part of the event and I mean everybody even if you havent been here for a while or if you've just been lurking.... *cough731cough*

Tao:
Tao was presumed dead after being bitten and beat to a bloody pulp by his own clone Chi Vu during the finale of Revival Inc. His body was taken away by X but this left the Site B team with even more questions.

Bono:
Bono had went out in a blaze of glory- his last act was a heart felt attack on the undead which now polluted the Revival Inc town. His ship crashed leaving him dead amidst a pile of wreckage. His death triggered the awakening of a clone he had been working on- Tommy.

Retloc:
Suspicious of X from the beginning Retloc began the conspiracy against X. He helped in the rescue of Tao and is now hiding out at Site B with the other members of his resistance group.

Braveshinzo:
Shinzo the one to penetrate the observation room where Tao was being held captive. He made one mistake- he left a mess and X was soon imformed. This in turn sparked the most daring rescue and escape in Site B history.

Ksrugi:
Ksurgi was the one who formulated the plan to eliminate the un-dead from the Revival Inc town. He was later captured during the Observation Room break in and tortured by Tommy Vox. After X injected him with an unknown liquid Ksurgi was let free by Carmel.

Tommy Vox:
Tommy worked loyally for X until Tao showed up. From what anybody could make out Tommy was suffering from dillusions of his creator- Bono.

Chi Vu Tze:
Chi Vu had been shut off- by X no less. Nobody knows how he did it.

Carmel Von Sant:
Carmel Von Sants mysterious appearance leaves numerous questions- who was she really working for? How did she survive the explosion at Facility X? How was she still alive when Retloc saw her die with his own eyes? Why had she stuck so close to X when she was revived only to betray him by letting Ksrugi go and warning Retloc and the others of X's plan to attack Site B?

Tao set his first foot off the train, his mind buzzed with thoughts, what the hell had he done? He had betrayed everybody- sentenced them to death, he may as well have pulled the trigger himself, once X got hold of them there would be no stopping it. Not only that- he had condemned himself to a life of slavery- working for X. He had sold his soul to the devil just so as he could continue his work on the virus which already destroyed so many lives and now Satan wanted payment- the price was too high, the lives of the people he once called friends. His mind was a flurry with thoughts of what the hell to do next. Did he try to run- abandon his friends and escape- should he stick with X and continue his work or should he try to make up for his mistake. He stepped forward, he was undecidely quiet. The whole atmosphere oozed tension as he followed X towards the main gates of the once proud building of Site B...

X gave his trademark devilish grin as his first foot stepped out onto the dirt. Tao had been distinctly silent for the duration of the trip and X had taken it under his notice although he had not said anything of yet- he knew exactley what was going through Taos' mind- he was having second thoughts. X knew for Tao to fully follow X he would have to perform a great dead of evil- X knew exactley what it was. As he led the way to the main building he grinned as he rummaged in his pocket and felt the cold steel of a pistol...

As Retloc checked and loaded weapons in the armory with Ksurgi in preparation for their assault on X, he felt a familiar buzzing in the base of his skull. His soldier sense was picking up...there was danger here. He tossed the shotgun he was preparing to Ksrugi.
"Something's wrong. You stay here. Get ready. There's no time."
He raced out into the hallway, heading for the control room. He'd managed to get the generator linked up to the control room, but the other room's wires had been chewed through...so no power there. He burst through the door, and pulled up the security cameras and began searching for something....out of place.
There it was...Retloc stared. No, it couldn't be...Tao really sold them out. He sold them out.... No, Retloc shook himself, time enough for shock later. Right now there was danger.
Retloc turned on the intercom.
"Alert! Prepare yourselves! X is here! Repeat! X is HERE!"

Tao felt his breathing getting shallow as he drew closer to the main building of what was left of Site B. The sight of the building haunted him and chilled him to the core. He shuddered as his mouth dried, he fidgeted with his hands in a pathetic attempt to stop himself from shaking. His mind was so clouded that he didnt know what to do next...

X held the gun tightly by the barrel keeping it hidden from view inside the depths of his pockets. When the time came he would finally drag Tao along with him to the point of no return. The people alive inside the main building had probably already noticed their entrance into the area and were more than likely making preparations for an attack- X wasnt worried at all. He knew he would survive like he had always done before. Tao on the other hand was a different matter- although it wasnt like X really cared anyway- all he wanted was a predeccessor- somebody to carry on the work on the H2K virus- and there would be plenty of people willing to do his bidding even if Tao did meet his fate...

As Tao feet reached the front door his stomach churned, what the hell was he even doing here? Betraying his friends and forgetting about anything that ever mattered to him. He had so many contradicting emotions and thoughts spinning through his head that he couldnt even think straight...

X stood right beside as they reached the front door, he remained silent- only the noise of Taos' heavy breathing to break the perfect silence. He readied himself to push the doors open,
"We're coming to get you..."

As Retloc sprinted into the hallway towards the entrance, everything seemed to slow, as though it were a dream. His ears were filled with a buzzing, and the world seemed to hold its breath as Retloc pushed the doors open slowly. The buzzing stopped. Retloc was aware of everything now, from the cold wind biting his face, to Tao's shallow breathing. It seemed as though he'd come to the end of his world. It seemed as though every second were his final. There was no moment but this.
"X."
Even as he spat the name as though it were a poison, a dormant rage flew up inside of him, burning every vein with his fury.
"X!!"
Retloc's burning gaze swept over Tao, and a cold drop of sorrow mingled in with his blinding fury. He knew that he could not defeat X, not now. Not with Tao as he was, not without his whole soul concentrating on the passing of X.

Tao halted his pace and stepped back as he saw X swing for Retloc, his loyalties were divided now more than ever...

Retloc pulled his head back to dodge the blow, then kicked X's hand away, going into a cartwheel and landing in a ready stance, then launched a punch at X's torso..
