STORY: If you've ever played the Soul Calibur games, it's self-explanitory but for those who don't visit arcades here it is:
In the medieval times warriors in the west, and the east, fought for control of powerful swords: one SoulEdge, was the embodiment of evil. the other, SoulCalibur, was the embodiment of light. those who controlled the swords were powerful.

Appearance: Shoulder length, shaggy brown hair. He wears a red cape that is slightly tattered along its bottom edge. His katana rests in a plain black sheath at his belt. He wears a plain white shirt and dark pants. He has a couple small scars on his face, and a long one running down his left hand.
Personality: Distant and secretive, Rakunya despises the idea of people. He lets no one closer to his mind than he desires, and at most he'll show his acquaintances moments of mercy, but never betrays emotion or sympathy. Any emotion he once had is instead channeled into his fighting spirit.
History: For most of his life, Rakunya was a world traveler, and those who remember him know that he cannot be bested. His skill has yet to be matched, though there are whispered that his scars came from a losing battle. Once, he quested for the greatest challenge. Now, he quests to end both darkness and light, the extremes of which he feels are upsetting the balance of life in their quest for power. He seeks two swords in this quest: the legendary Masamune, and the equally legendary Soul Edge. Either of these swords in his hands, he feels, would restore the balance. As Masamune has only created dead ends, he set off after the legendary Azure Knight.

Personality: A generally friendly man with a small anti-social streak. He tends not to speak until spoken to. His obsession with combat leaves him with few long-time friends, due to their lack of understanding for this sort of hobby. Despite this, those he is associated with quickly find him to be a powerful ally.
History: Crow, over only a few years, has become a legend among swordmen, and even moreso among unarmed combatants. His ability to weild a dagger comes among the best, and when combined with his empty hand skills he is believed to be unstoppable. With the rumor that one called Nightmare walks again, he searches again for the greatest challenge.

Appearance: Tai is not one to go for the casual look, sporting armor instead. His armor, red with the blood of those he has slain, is that of a samurai. He carries his katana, black as Death, in a sheith on his back. His shins are gaurded by, well what else other than shin-gaurds? He wears straw sandals along with white socks. Tai's eyes are blood red, with no pupil, and he has elongated canines, as well as a diagonal scar over his right eye. His face is hidden by a polished iron mask which locks into place with the helmet he wears.
Personality: Not having anyone to love and or understand him, Tai turned to the darkness for comfort and found great strength. He has never had a friend because of the many things people considered to be inhuman about him. As he grew in age, power, and other such things, so did his anger and hatred for those who judged him. He has a heart of stone, if anything at all, and is possibly the most foul creature to walk the earth.
History: Tai couldn't really rely on anyone but himself for a long time and so he wandered from place to place, crying in misery as a small child. Eventually he nearly literally ran into Tira, the follower of Nightmare. Needless to say, she was going to kill him, until she saw that after the breif moment of fear, he simply looked away, not caring anymore. Letting her weapon down, she decided to take him to Nightmare himself, and Tai has been working for him ever since.

Personality: Akecheta is generally very mild-mannered. His is calm, level-headed, and relaxed. He carries a lot of pride in his slow and deep voice, though his eyes carry a great sadness. He is not one for petty insults and cheap tricks. However, when the situation arises, Akecheta becomes a fierce warrior.
History: Akecheta was taken from his native land a few years ago by European military officials. He received training from a rather famous general and took up the sword, rather than the traditional axe. Combining styles of Sioux Indian and European military, Akecheta is truly a formidable opponent.
