Appearance: Gengrou is one of the better looking Orcs in his tribe by human standards, yet he still retains the typical orc features, making him far from attractive. His green skin is covered with darkened splotches. His lower jaw protrudes a bit, his orc tusks visble with the tips just below his eyes. He has a bulbous nose and small eyes with pure black irises. His hair is also pure black and is held back loosely in a ponytail that is tied in 3 places and hangs to his waist. He also has a small braid of hair hanging from each side of his chin.
He is clad in animal hides, wearing something resembling a kilt made from them, with a strap over his large muscular chest, and wears leather gauntlets. He also wears a large leather belt around his waist, which holds small pouches for supplies. On his legs he wears boots made of loose hide, covered by cloth straps.
He also has a large brown tattered cloak which he wears to protect himself from the weather, as well as hide himself when walking in crowds.

Height: 5' 4"

Strengths: Is very strong. Being an orc, he has beyond human strength and can easily lift items as big and heavy as boulders and can lift up to half a ton if necessary. Also has beyond normal stamina, enabling him to make great journeys on foot without the need for much rest. Is also very intelligent.

Weaknesses: Is somewhat physically slow when fighting. Also gets upset when criticized about his size.

Weapon: Bat Axe. Can also use a bow and arrows as well as a quarterstaff.

Personality: Despite his appearance, he is surprisingly friendly. He doesn't really like to fight, but won't hesitate to if his life is on the line. He struggles with the use of the common language, but still tries his best to converse with others. He seeks to make friends with other races, believing coexistence is a better road than conquering.

Bio: Living in Selas, the orcs and the elves have been in a constant battle for dominance of territory. Gengrou's tribe, the Tenhalakan, is one of the three lead tribes vying to rush Melthinae and expel the elves. Though not the head of his tribe or even in the head family, Gengrou is considered to be one of the more intelligent youths in the tribe. Gengrou had often taken to learning about the world outside Selas, and had wanted to explore the world rather than stay confined to the woods and continue in the struggle for territory.
One day, Gengrou's father met with the leader of his and the other two head tribes and proposed sending his son out to learn about the world. His father had heard of the famous House of Bricks that human travelers had often mentioned, and figured that sending him there would not only help Gengrou learn valuable information about the world outside, but also turn him into a better soldier. It was believed that in doing so, Gengrou would return with valuable information they could use in the war against the elves, as well as make Gengrou into a great warrior for the coming fight.
The tribal leaders agreed to the plan, and pooled their resources and treasures together to create the necessary funds for Gengrou's tuition. When Gengrou left Selas, he was full of excitement. At last he would be able to see the world he had been waiting to see for so long. And maybe he would make friends with the humans and other races so that they would see that orcs were good people too, and not just mindless monsters.
Gengrou had trouble finding transportation to Guren. No one wanted anything to do with an orc. So he made the journey to Guren on foot, hoping he would make it there safely and in time.

Extra: Gengrou is considered short for an orc. Most orcs exceed at least 6 feet in height by his age, and he has thus been picked on by other orcs due to his shorter stature. He often gets depressed when he is picked on about his size.
Also, contrary to what many believe, Orcs are not carnivores. They are herbivores. Orcs eat vegetables, fruits, and other earthly grown items. They cannot eat meat. Even attempting to ingest meat will make them seriously ill.
