 Ichigo awoke that morning with a headache, and as he finally moved his body to get up, he glared at frightening sunlight that had taken over the land. He knew that he had stayed up late the night before, but he didn't realize that he had slept in so late! Finally moving himself up and out of the brushy area, he found his way out of the trees, and met up with a breeze that swept along the landscape. His headache was just awful, so his eyes were squinted as he moved around the area.
A part of him wondered why he had woken up, and his his self daze he kicked at one of the bandages that clung to his leg.
He felt lazy, and he seriously needed to do something about it.
Later he would have to run.. or swim.. or else he would really get pissed off with himself.
After his usual internal conflict, he upped his pace into a trot, and smiled at the rush his body felt. Everything that was clouding his thoughts soon vanished, and he was comfortable in his new pace.

Jasmine wandered around, not quite sure what to do with herself. Her family all asked her for a "day off" from being with her. She wondered for a bit what they would have meant by that. Why would they need a day off? Was it difficult being with her?
Not wishing to think about these pessimistic thoughts for any longer, Jasmine quickly dropped the topic from her memory and moved on.
Looking around her, she didn't see much to do, though she did she one thing that stuck out to her as peculiar. There was a Soquili who seemed to be wrapped in some cloth. It was pretty bizarre to see! Of course, Jasmine being Jasmine, she couldn't resist the urge to interact with him!
"Excuse me!" said Jasmine as she trotted over to the Soquili as quickly as she could. "Why do you have that stuff all around you? Did a two-legger put that on you? That's so neat. I love two-leggers. You know, my mom was with a two-legger one time but then a Kalona attacked them and burnt her face off! Not my mom's, I mean the two-leggers. Oh! And then the Kalona chased my mom around and attacked her too, except there wasn't any fire. I wasn't born at the time, that'd be really scary for me to have to see my mom like that, you know? Like, wouldn't you be scared if that happened to you? Oh, anyways, so, yeah, why do you have the stuff on you? Is it from a two-legger? Is it? Is it? Huh?"
Jasmine suddenly stopped from her mad rush of words and looked at the stallion, waiting for an answer.

Ichigo, who at first was successful in losing his grumpy attitude, felt a rush of exhaustion as the bright blue mare started to speak. He had gone from a complete silence, to a LOUD and long range of speech.
His expression was a shocked one, and he stared at the female until she had finally stopped talking. How could she breath, and say all of THAT?!
"Oh wow, what do I answer first." he then snorted, while eying the brightness in color that the female possessed. "Firstly, what the hell is a two legger? And a Kalona?" Heh, maybe she was just a crazy gal with a big imagination? "Second, these are bandages..." then he blinked for a second, being utterly confused in why the bandages were so weird! "I wear them because I want too!"
Maybe he was immature in his response back, and he sighed and shook his head. "Why did you just.. say all of that, and so quickly?" he got the feeling that he was about to have a very hard conversation with this mare. Oh the pain.. and headache.. which was slowly creeping back into his head. "How wonderful." he then said, with a snort.

This stalllion asked so many questions! He probably didn't want an answer for them all, but Jasmine was to excited to not give each one. By giving an answer for each, she'd be talking more, and that's her favorite activity!
"Well, a two-legger are those weird looking creatures that live in that little village area. They got only two legs and then two 'arms' or something like that. They are also called 'humans' sometimes, but I think we generally just call them two-leggers because, well, we're just cool like that," said Jasmine. The way she spoke was always very informal, not to mention quick and seemingly never-ending.
"Now to answer your second question, a Kalona is a big and scary Soquili that are kinda like evil demons, but they are real and all over the place lately. They have great big wings and little horns on their head with a nasty temper! You don't want to cross paths with a Kalona! No siree!" she exclaimed happily, considering the topic. "And I said 'all of that' because I just like to talk. Sometimes I just talk and talk and don't ever know when to just shut up! But I don't think that happens to often. At least, people don't tell me to stop talking, they just look annoyed with me or something. I guess I should stop talking so much but I just love to do it! I can talk and talk and talk for hours and hours and hours!"
"Oh! Right! You never told me your name! You also didn't give me a 'real answer' about why you wear your bandages but I won't bother you for a different one. Oh, I forgot to tell me name! Kind of silly to ask for your name without saying my own name! My name is Jasmine, but you can call me Jas, Jazz, Jazzy or whatever you want really. I like making up nicknames for myself. Maybe I can make a nickname for you, but you have to tell me your name first, so why don't you do that. Okay?" said Jasmine. She wasn't too sure what she said, but she knew she said something, and that's what mattered.

Well.. at least this Jasmine was informative! He was able to learn a lot from what she said, but he felt sick at how much she was stating. These Kalona things were intriguing to him, but two leggers just sounded strange in his mind. Obviously he was shut away from all of this for too long."Well, I am grateful for your information on such topics." With a nod, he arched his back so it wasn't so stiff, and dreaded responded to her other nonsense statements.
"My name is Ichigo..." he scoffed towards some of the nicknames he had heard before, like the word Ichi, "I will call you Jasmine, since that is your name." Yes, and that was formal, and most easy.
Feeling compelled to comment on her 'talking forever' comment, he paused for a moment before finally taking the risk. "Now how is it possible for one to talk for hours? Don't you get tired of talking? I sure do..there isn't enough to bring up." At least what the two of them were talking about wasn't nonsense or anything, but Ichigo was dreading that sort of switch over in the future.
Even though they were out in an open area, he felt cramped for some reason. Social interactions were not his most favorite thing, and it seemed that Jasmine was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE in that regard.

"Well, I don't know if I literally can talk on for hours and hours without talking with someone. But then again, I've never tried it. I guess I could try it sometime, but obviously not now cause talking on my own would mean that I'm ignoring you which wouldn't be a nice thing now, would it? No, I suppose it wouldn't be all that nice of me," said Jasmine. She already kind of liked Ichigo, he didn't seem to be as annoyed by Jasmine as other Soquili usually are.
"So, why didn't you know what a Kalona or a two-legger are? Are you stupid? I guess it could be possible, but I don't think you're stupid. At least, you don't seem to be stupid. But its very possible that you are. Probably more likely you aren't from around here or are new or something. There's actually a lot of reasons why you could just not know. Maybe you just never heard of them. That happens to me sometimes, I learn new things. Lots of new things each day. Its fun to learn. Anyways, back on topic, whatever the topic may be...are you from around here?" asked Jasmine. Even though she loved to talk, she's been working on trying to stay on topic more often. Or at least, find a way back to the topic.

Snapping back on track, he raised a brow at her 'stupid' reference. "I can assure you, I am not stupid." If anything, maybe SHE was stupid! Though, he held his temper back, and decided to move on to her other comments. "You right, I had never heard of them. Not everyone talks as much as you do, so not everyone gets as much information as you have." That made sense, since he rarely approached others. "So, some of us rely on running into others like you, so we can learn as much as we can." He didn't mind referring to Jasmine as helpful, since well, she really had explained a lot.
"Well.. I have always roamed here, if thats what you mean. Aren't you from here?" He tilted his head and watched her, wondering where else one could be from. "You alone, or do you do the family thing?" Ichigo didn't really like the 'family' way of life, but he got a feeling that Jasmine was a daughter, or at least a sister! She had that innocence about her, and he wondered if his initial thought was correct.

"Yup!" said Jasmine happily. She loved to talk about her family. "I spend most of my time with my family. I have a brother, Roshan, he's so much fun to be with! He's a little bit mischevious though. We like to do a lot of different things together. Oh, and then there's my mom and my dad. They are both super fun. Some of my friends, though I don't have many, say that they don't really like to spend time with my parents but I do! They are really cool and not weird to be with. They make stuff really fun! My mom has a very young attitude about her. My grandparents and aunt and uncle on her side are a little weird. Grandma is alright though, but well, she's my grandma. Not exactly 'cool' to be with. Its cool to be with my parents though because, well, as I said, they are 'cool'."
Jasmine stopped speaking and paused for a moment. She wasn't too sure what else to say. For once in her life, Jasmine was speechless.
"Uh. Um. You? Do you have family?" she asked awkwardly, trying to pass the moment of unease away.

Most of the continuous blabber had flown through the air above Ichigo, and went right past him. How was he supposed to listen, when Jasmine kept changing her mind about who was weird or alright? It did sound like she had a large family, but he wondered why she wasn't with them now? He would think if anything, she would be with them often.
Either way, he was thinking about saying some kind of response, until his ears heard the utter beauty that was silence. For a moment, a pause of quiet had surrounded the two horses, but before Ichigo could enjoy it, Jasmine started to speak again. "No, I don't have family." he then said, with a half frown. "I don't do the whole family thing, never had." It wasn't necessary afterall. Thinking about it seemed to make him grumpy, and he always wondered why.
"Does your brother talk as much as you do?" Because if yes.. Ichigo would have to avoid him at all costs!
"But anyway, what makes you determine if someone is weird or not? Because, you seemed pretty conflicted in decision when you were talking about your grandparents or something." The strangest things always made him wondered, and he watched her again after finishing his question.
