It had been a long day, and Asami was ready for a nap of some sort. Quietly she found a place under a tree, where she could see the sun slowly starting to set. A beautiful sight this was, and the ulaya seemed to slowly drift off to sleep as her head gently lay on her fore paws that were folded on top of one another in front of her. Her white and brown ears kept twisting and turning as she listened for anything, or anyone that might decide to choose her as a meal of some sort. While still sleeping, she wiggled a little closer to the tree and into the tall grass that hid her perfectly.
The ulaya seemed to be able to hide perfectly in these surroundings, since her brown coloring seemed to match the dirt that she was now sleeping on. She was having a rather pleasant dream and the sun that was slowly setting was keeping her just the right amount of warm. Soon the cold night air would blow through the grass and possibly wake Asami up from her peaceful sleep.

Jaron strolled along through the meadow, the long grass tickleing the sides of his legs as he passed by. The day had, so far, been quite enjoyable, good weather, nice prey. He had been able to catch a few mice or squirrels today, quite unusual for him to catch so much prey in just one day. He dug his front claws into the dirt as he stretched, feeling a little tired. Jaron continued on forward, passing by a tree. He paused looking down at the fallen dead leaves on the ground. He stepped a paw forward and pushed down on one, crinkling and breaking the leaf to pieces. He felt a small tingling sensation at the tips of his paws, feeling quite delighted by it. He continued on walking about the tree stepping on leaves as he went. "Woah!" He shouted out as he tripped over a lump on the ground, having been unaware that another ulaya had been napping by the tree.

The sounds of leaves being stepped on made Asami's ears quickly spin around towards the one that was making the noise. When another leaf crinkled, Asami wanted to look over to see what it was, but right before she lifted her head something fell over her and landed acrossed her back. What in the world was that?!
Her head quickly shot up as she looked at whatever or... whoever tripped over her. A blue pink and white ulaya was drapped over Asami's back as her head tilted a little. "Um... can I help you?" She asked as she tried to wiggle her way out from under his huge body. Ugh! This ulaya needed to lose some weight. As her back end popped out from under the other, she quickly spun around. Not the most graceful ulaya now was he? Asami sat down watching the other clutsey ulaya. He seemed interesting.

Jaron struggled about as he tried to get off...whatever he landed on. He heard the 'thing' speak for a moment. "Hmm..help? Oh! Thats fine, I'm quite...o--KAY!" He shouted out as he finally got off of the 'creature'. He groaned, sitting down and rubbing his head and everywhere else that ached from his fall. He shook his head, trying to take in what had just happened; it all just seemed to happen really fast...to him anyway. "I'm...so, sorry about that..." He said, his eyes closed as he kept on rubbing his forhead.
He stopped rubbing and looked up at the creature that he had tripped on. Well..as it had turned out this 'creature' was an ulaya, like him. "Hehe...Hi there.." He said, doing a small wave in the ulaya's direction.

He was groaning?! Asami tried to rub her back, but couldn't bend in the way she wanted. This was going to hurt a little tomorrow. Didn't the other ulaya see her? She was pretty big now... not as big as most other female, but pretty big compared to how big she was before. Well, she didn't want to seem too rude, so she just shrugged her shoulders a little and replied to his apology. "No problem. I guess no one will find me while I'm sleeping and mistake me for food." She said with a small thoughtful shrug.
Hm... this ulaya was... handsome. Thats what the guys liked to be called right? Asami liked the blue and white on him and his eyes were a gorgeous blueish green coloring. Very... handsome. "Hi." She spat out at the other ulaya in a friendly sort of way.

Jaron got up on all fours and brushed his side with one paw. "But still...it was rather quite rude of me to trip on you when I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I...guess I just got a bit carried away with my..." He paused, pondering on a way to describe it. "leaf stomping." he said with a small laugh. He studied the other ulaya for a moment.
Well as Jaron had thought, it was a female, and from her current build she seemed to almost be emerging from adolescence, perhaps? Well she didn't really look all too young, nor all too old. He blinked a couple of times, a little confused. From here it almost seemed as if though her white pelt was....sparkling? No, it couldn't be...maybe it was just the small rays of sunlight that fell through the leave's cracks?
Jaron shook his head for a moment, plunging himself back into the present. "So...ahem, I'm Jaron, and you might be?"

Asami shrugged her shoulders a bit at the other ulaya. "As long as you don't ever do it again, we will be okay." The brown and white ulaya said with a small wink as she stood up and stretched herself out a little bit. Leaf stomping? A small giggle was heard from Asami as she pictured this blue ulaya stomping around just for the pleasure of the sound of leaves crackling.
Asami's eye quickly darted to the other ulaya's beautiful blue eyes that seemed to capture her in them. Wow, why couldn't she have such beautiful eyes? She gently shrugged her thoughts away as she blinked then turned to face something else in the distance. What was there to look at? A tree? That and bushes that was about it.
"Jaron... interesting name." Asami said with a small nod of her head as she continued to look at nothing in the distance. "I am Asami." She answered simply as she acted like she was very interested in the nothingness behind Jaron.

Jaron grinned "Agreed" Be blushed a bit as her small giggle eminated out from her maw. 'leaf stomping' was a sort of habit he had as a kit. He had hoped to actually outgrow it, but apparently it still remained in his subconcious somewhere.
He tilted his head abit, curious as to what she was looking at. Not wanting to seem too interested, he moved his head over to the side a bit, looking out of the corner of his eye to see that she was looking at a few bushes and such, nothing much. He straightened up as the ulaya continued, facing her, who now revealed herself to be known as Asami.
"Why...thank you" He said upon the comment. "Its quite a pleasure to meet you, Asami." A charming smile came across his face, his eyes showing a sort of relaxed expression.

The sight of the blue ulaya's cheeks turning a small pinkish coloring made the small white ulaya chuckle a little more. She didn't have any bad habits from when she was a kit... well other then getting into trouble a lot.
She stretched out a little as she looked at the other ulaya's beautiful blue eyes. A little curious to why he loved leaf stomping, she gently stepped on a leaf and listened to it crunch under her. Hm... it was kind of fun after all. She stepped on another, and another. Asami tried not to look too interested in the sound of the leaves. When she was done with her 'leaf stomping,' she looked to the other ulaya and let a small smile cross her face.
A small yawn slipped from Asami's maw as she sat down and casually began to lick her paw. Since her fur was white, it was easy to tell when she was dirty and not, but the brown on her fur gave her a look as though she had been running around in dirt all day.

Jaron watched Asami step on the leaves, listening to each leaf crackle beneath her paws. He almost felt tempted to join her. No, he had to resist; He had to try and get rid of his little habit. He took in a deep breath and breathed out, looking up the tree's trunk, watching a leaf slowly fall from its branch. He quickly caught it with a paw and his claws, rubbing it against with other paw; It left some dust and dirt on his pads.
"Well the leaves sure seem a little more, dirty, than usual" He randomly said aloud, noticing, as he turned his head to face Asami, that she too had gotten pretty dirty from the other leaves.

Asami stopped crunching the leaves and looked up to Jaron's eyes which seemed painfully watching her when she stepped on the leaves. "Does that bother you? If so, I will stop. I was just... seeing what joy you had in stomping leaves." The curious female always had to try stuff out for herself. Of course, her curiosity had gotten her into some very poor predicaments. When he caught the leaf with much ease, Asami's eyes seemed to glow with amazement.
"I like them just the way they are... welcoming." She said as she sat down on the leaves which made a crackling noise as she rested her weight down. "A little dirt didn't ever hurt anyone... unless it got into one's eyes." The little white ulaya said with a small giggle at her comment.

Jaron snapped back into the present as he heard Asami, looking up to her as he recalled what she had just said. "Oh? Oh, its quite alright, continue on if you want. I was just thinking of something" He looked back down to the leaf that he was holding and enfolded his paw around it, feeling the leaf break into a bunch of crispy pieces.
Jaron nodded in agreement to what she said. "Yeah...its like they're just begging to be stomped on", he said, laughing aloud, thinking about how silly his statement must have seemed. He turned his paw over to let the small broken bits of his leaf fall to the ground, letting out a small sneeze from the bit of dust that still lingered in the air.

The little white ulaya let out a yawn then stomped on a few more leaves before quitting all together. It got a little boring, but most things for Asami did get boring a little quickly. Especially kits! They didn't get 'boring' so to say, but they got annoying! Asami made a disgusted face at the thought of little kits. She volunteered to watch over a little on for a friend, but that was a tremendously horrible mistake she made.
At the sound of Jaron's voice, Asami was brought back to reality and let a small smile graze her face. "I guess you could put it that way." She said looking at the colorful leaves. They did seem to talk to you, but only as you stepped on them. The white ulaya's nose twitched a little at the scent of the dust in the air.

{Sorry if its shorter than usual ^^;; } Jaron rubbed his nose after his sneeze, a sort of apologetic look on his face. "Excuse me". He said with a small sheepish look on his face. We looked up curiously at the tree reaching a paw up to the closest tree branch, bending it up and down to test it's strength. "Hmm..." he said, facing over to Asami with a questioning look on his face.

Asami tilted her head a little at what the blue, white, and pink ulaya was doing. "What are you planning on doing with that?" She asked, continuing to watch him pull at the branch that was the closest one to him. The white ulaya stopped watching him then laid down on the ground in the leaves once again as she was doing before this new ulaya had accidentally tripped on her. Was he going to play a trick on her? Hopefully not, he didn't seem like the type of ulaya that would do that sort of thing. She was that kind of ulaya though, prank was her middle name.
