I personally don't see a point in doing background checks on users. It's just the internet and it isn't like we're not thick-skinned enough to take the one insult or whatever before one of us shows them the banhammer.
Ot jist seems like a lot of unnecessary work to me.
Also why don't we stay a poll guild because seriously polls are cool. Also if we don't become poll-mandatory, will it be okay to have random polls anyway?

 Well, As Moderators will not be doing background checks or accepting invites it is only me that will be affected. I do not mind doing background checks and personally i dont want insults to be thrown around in my guild - thick skinned or otherwise its unplesant. Hence why I made this rule and it will not be changed. Also to me The internet and the 'real' world are the same in the effect of politeness and manners. I want a pleasent atmosphere here.
So to me it is not unnecessary. I don't want this to be like RoP in any way - so doing another poll guild isn't in my interests.
The rules do not state anything about polls arnt allowed and in the main forum and subforums polls are there.
