If you wish to climb up the guild ladder into a Crew Member or Vice Captain position you will have to take on a newbie who wish to join the guild.
You will have to the following in this order:
1.) Find a newbie. The Captain may or may not give you gaian to work with during your test for Vice Captain or Crew Member. You may have to search one. Make sure this member is SERIOUS though about joining and is not poking around and making fun. So get to know the before you invite them to the guild!
2.) When it come to sending an invite to for your member...please tell me the name of the Gaian and I will send it out...on the vice captains and captains can send invites. Sometimes, if the Captain give a person work with, they will already be invited to the guild. If they are already a member then you don't have to worry about inviting them but you do have to tell the Captain how you invite someone to the guild to be a member of it. Either way you will do invite for one member so you know how to do it.
3.) Meet them in the chatterbox and chat with each other for a bit. They must go to the chatterbox immediately and stay there. They are not ready or allowed to roleplay or post anywhere else as of yet! It is very annoying to have someone jump into a roleplay without knowing rules and or what is going on! It can get people in alot of trouble!
4.) When you think it is time. Tell them to looked at the Important Notices thread and tell the to read all the post, especially the FIVE STEPS TO ROLEPLAYING! Tell them not to post in the thread and to come back to the chatterbox once they are done reading.
5.) Once they come back and you confirm that they understand what they have just read and they do not need help with it, tell them to go to the Encyclopedia and read the Roleplay 101 and Need to Know threads. Tell them they will be quizzed on the three parts.

.......B|Quiz on at least 3 questions. Max is 6....prefer 4-5 questions though on Needs to Know Thread. Make sure to get the majority of the information in the Need to Know thread in your questions. I want to see just how much they know!
.......C| Sample of Roleplay Skills and Style. They must use bold, italics, spoken words, detail of their surrounding. All of which must be in story like format. They choose the topic but is must be a least a few lines long.
6.)Give the test...make sure you are clear on what you are looking for when you ask a question. I will lock the encyclopedia when you are ready. If you forget something when your trying to make a question for the quiz...feel free to ask me because the encyclopedia will be lock again to you. This is another test of your knowledge on the subject matter.
7.) When the quiz is done tell me how he/she did and I will evaluate test. I will give the score and tell you if the person passes or not. You will then relay the information to them. The test can be administer multiple time but you must ask the Captain for another test session if they fail the first time.
8.)When the test is over. Make sure the rest of the five steps are completed. The Profile doesn't have to be completed...just started.
9.)Once all five step are finished, get them into the roleplay in Farthen-Dur. They can make their own thread if they wish, help if they need it. Watch the for a few posts to make sure they are not messing up or making mistake. When you think they are doing good and are ready leave the nest,come back to me and give a summary of the person and what you did. I will then looked at everything you did. Add it all up. And get back with you with my decision.

Please be clear, patience, and understanding. If you having problems, ask the Captain for help! If you can't handle the problem then the Captain will take over, just be sure to tell her and abandon the person you taking care of. Right now the people are in your care...!
