Since people may think i'm weird, heres a start to describing an ancient :
The ancients are amoung the oldest races, little is known about them by any other race, mainly because they can never find them, they live quietly in an almost completely inaccessible area known as the 'promised lands' the ancients are the only material exsistence with a mind in the entire land, but are still very spiritual.
The ancients are beings of balance, they do however show themselves mainly as entitys of light and/or holiness, while the others show themselves as demonic entitys, they are also born with the capablility of closing their second eyelid, and when they do they can watch over areas they have once visited, or people they have met, they call it 'soul dreaming' as they are barely living when they do this, and while the demonic of them can control death, the holy entities of the ancients can control loiving things, they can speed up life, causing eggs to hatch mere seconds after being laid, but they can also reverse aging, making someone who is old young again, or make someone young older, as well as stop aging completely, however, these powers take many years to develop, the angelic tomes they are seen with are their tutors in such ways.
I think thats about it, either way, this doesn't need to be followed, its just the idea i was working from when i said felix was an ancient smile
