Here we go v_v Yep, the spoiler city Newspaper, The Sun, has said that we're getting ANOTHER special this year. It's all rumours, of course, and it kind of clashes with what's in the Series 4 thread ... about Re-joining Doctors ... The thing is, if they've aged, it wouldn't make sense, they DIED before they got OLDER :O Anywho, here goes.

Quote:
Doctor Who legend Peter Davison is to step back into the Tardis – and come face to face with the current Doctor.

Peter, 56, who played the Timelord in the 1980s, will pull on his famous trenchcoat once again for a Children In Need special.

Bosses are tight-lipped about the storyline, written by Who scribe Stephen Moffat.

But an insider revealed: “The Doctor is forever travelling though time so there’s no reason why he couldn't catch up with a former incarnation.

“Peter was top of the writer’s list to make a comeback."

This year’s Children In Need charity telethon takes place on BBC1 on Friday, November 16.

Yep, it's CONFIRMED!!! There IS going to be a short (according to the reports, possibly half an hour) episode of Doctor Who on Children in Need night! Talk about hooking in more money! QUOTEAGE!

Quote:
The Tenth Doctor meets the Fifth Doctor.

David Tennant's Tenth Doctor is set to meet Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor in a special scene commissioned for BBC One's Children in Need.

The scene, entitled Time Crash, was written by award winning Doctor Who writer Steven Moffatt, and will transmit as part of the Children in Need fundraising evening on Friday 16 November 2007.

"It is an honour for me to be able to make the connection between the Fifth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor," noted Peter Davison. "However, now is not the time for sound-bites. I can feel the hand of history on my shoulder, even if I can't do the buttons up!"

Look out for more coverage on the site nearer the time - and don't forget to support Children In Need and donate on the night!

I just saw this on David Tennant's website and i was like: WOW!! xd
I can't believe that the 10th and 5th Doctor are gonna meet, it worked with previous Doctors so i hope it's better than that!!

It's gonna be a bit wierd though, but it's for Children in Need.

I doubt it will work as well as the old Multi Doctor specials. The only two that might have made sense would be Tennant and Eccleston, the 5th Doctor is older and bigger and balder now, a lot different to when he regenerated, generally the doctors didn't look too different from when they regenerated.

Wow eek

This is going to be interesting. But yeh, I agree with you. They're going to need a lot of make up and a wig to make this work properly.

Ok, the Radio Times has it as the feature this issue biggrin Basically the special is 7 minutes long (like the first with David and Rose), and they have a reason for why #5 is older xd

I think it was quite good. It explained why the TARDIS got all bashed up by the Titanic when it apparently can't be broken. But..hm..I dunno really. I still can't decide if I liked it that much or not.

The only shield he HAS at the moment is the Tribo Physical macro kinetic waveform extrapulator. It was mentioned in series 1 that the TARDIS has no shield, when really it does (otherwise you could punch through it xd )
