I saw the announcement for some "water balloon fight" on the Gaia that's coming up...ON AUGUST 27th! WHY DOES MY LIFE SUCK SO MUCH?!

Let it be heard by all: Gaia Online shall host the biggest virtual water balloon fight of all time. This will be one of the hugest events in Gaia's history, with new items, a new forum game, new stuff to do in Towns and a great big update to Gaia's storyline. Yow!

You can prepare for the epic water battle by stocking up on water balloons. This week, we'll be giving away water balloons in the Daily Chance. If you're not content to rely on mere fate, you can get a head start on your balloon collection by inviting your friends; for every friend you invite this week, you'll get 30 free water balloons!

No, you can't start pelting people with your balloons just yet. You'll have to wait for the Summer Festival to start, on Monday, August 27th!

I'm totally going to miss it...I remember when Gaia had those forum games, like the olden (not so old...is 2 years ago old?) times. *Sigh*. The thing that i really want to see in this new announcement is the promising of a Storyline update. If it only lasts one day, I'm going to be emo D:. HOPEFULLY this big event will last 7 - 14 days.

(The reason why I can't participate on the event for awhile is because of Band Camp...ON MY B-DAY D: *sobweep*) Okay enough complaining from me.

So Inspiration, are you excited about this event (: ?

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure there will be plenty of time to participate, and the story update should stick around for a while.

Who knows? Maybe it'll be one of those events that you get super excited for and it's all different than you thought it would be, BUT...Let's have some fun anyway!! (Even if you can't be here)

I'll be here but I'm not too sure about it. I'd much rather go out with my friends than to do an event like that. Sounds more of something like a competition than anything else.

@PastInBlood: Yeah, the storyline and items will stick around, so I guess there's nothing to be worried about :3. Gaia DOES have a tendency to over-shoot things and events turn out pretty lame...
