Since my goals are changing every day I thought I'd change this to a Journal of my adventures! Discussion/comments welcome and encouraged!

Characters:
Oniko Sengir - A Ni-Kunni, Oniko graduated from the Amarrian Imperial Academy and worked in the Special Forces for the Amarr Imperial Navy until she was hired by the EM Pack shipping company. She lived a decently peaceful life as a trader in the Amarr empire and Kor-Azor regions for a while until she was recruited straight onto the front lines of a war raging on the edge of civilized space.
In the Northern Intelligence corporation of the Veritas Immortalis alliance, Oniko fought against the Russian horde in the Great Wildlands and . Here she learned first hand intricacies of ship to ship combat and the hardships of life in the fringe lawless regions of the galaxy. It was here that Oniko first viewed the unimaginable size and mass of hulking capital ships. Carriers and Dreadnaughts throwing staggering shots and giant scorching laser beams. Fleets of battleships that fill the sky methodically demolishing each other. The conquering of stations and the slaughter of the inhabitants as they fled.
Eventually it was too much. Oniko packed up her belongings and retreated back to the Amarr Empire and returned to duty for the Imperial Navy. Eventually she founded a small corporation with a few colleagues, but that didn't last long. She was then recruited by the Coreli Corporation as a Guardian of the Serpentis Corporation's assets in Curse.
In Curse Oniko learned how to fight as a small coordinated strike team. Dealing crushing blows to an enemy with superior forces. It is here that Oniko honed her combat skills defending OSY-UD from invasion time and time again.
The Coreli Corporation grew, and was eventually recalled to Fountain, to the Serpentis home system of Serpentis Prime. There she continued to fight in the interests of the Serpentis as Coreli Corporation began the research and production of neural booster technology.
For a time it was good. Fountain proved to be incredibly lucrative, and Oniko was very successful. She flew alongside the even more massive fleets of the combined Alliance forces in the northern campaign of what has come to be called The Great War. She also flew in the southern sniper fleets in the defense of the FIX alliance from IAC in Querious.
Eventually internal conflict and a devastating sabotage of Coreli assets by the DED lead to the near collapse of the Coreli Corporation. What's left of the corporation has returned to Curse to reclaim the Serpentis station in OSY-UD and resume operation.

Envey Sengir - A Civire born to a family of mercenaries, Envey graduated from the State War Academy and made a career in the military as a Special Forces pilot for over a year until she received an offer from the Coreli Corporation to work as an operative in the interests of the Serpentis Corporation.

Envy Srignen - A Civire also graduating from the State War Academy, Envy and Oniko met in their days as traders in the Amarr Empire. Envy has followed and supported Oniko through their career together as pod pilots.

System: QFEW-K (Curse Region)

I jump into the system and activate the cloaking device on my Pilgrim class Force Recon ship. The flat gray hull splashed with red paint shimmers and vanishes into nothingness.
The local communication channel shows 3 hostile pilots in the system. A quick scan shows a Nighthawk and an Astarte, both Command Battlecruisers. The third pilot is nowhere to be found. I can only assume he is docked in one of the stations.
After a few moments I narrow the Astarte's location down to a moon with an anchored P.O.S. Tower. The Nighthawk appears to be at a station so I warp to take a closer look. Arriving at the station he is nowhere to be seen. Another moment with the scanner and I see that he is beneath the station, the ship wrecks confirm that he's in a mission.
Envey jumps into the system and warps to a nearby planet in her Maulus class frigate and drops a scan probe. It is too late though, and by the time the probe finishes the Battlecruiser has left the mission site. Soon after he returns flying an Exequror cruiser and begins looting and salvaging the wrecked ships.
The cruiser is not nearly as juicy a target as the Nighthawk so I sit and wait, watching the Cruiser plow through the debris of his mission, hoping that he'll finish quickly and get started on another mission.
After 30 to 40 minutes, impatience gets the better of me and I decloak on him and tackle his cruiser expecting to at least get the Astarte to warp in and attack me. He ejects in his escape pod to save himself, but his ship is lost and I pick the valuables from the wreck and return to hiding. To my surprise, his friend in the Astarte did not come to his aid.

About 45 minutes later I notice a Buzzard class Transport ship alone at a mission spot. I'm sure this must be a trap for me, but I decide to check it out. Envey drops another scan probe and sends me off to the location. When I come out of warp I see that the Buzzard is salvaging and looting just as the Exequror had been. I decloak and engage and sure enough two Falcon class Force Recon ships decloak several tens of kilometers from me. They jam my Pilgrim with their ECMs and engage me, I'd fallen into their trap. But ahah! I have a trap of my own! Envy Srignen jumps in from a neighboring system where she had been laying in wait. Her Myrmidon class Battlecruiser drops out of warp and nearly instantly obliterates one of the Falcons in a hail of blaster fire and a swarm of drones! The other Falcon pilot warps off in a panic, and the Buzzard runs away too fast for me to stay with him and he warps off to safety.
We scoop the Falcon's wreck and Envy heads off out of the system. I set up lurking cloaked over one of the local stations. Waiting... Watching... wink

System: OSY-UD (Curse Region)

Envey has been assigned to Tuvan Orth, an Internal Security agent of the Serpentis Corporation. I've heard good things about this agent so I was eager to see how things turned out for her. We arrived in system to find a dozen hostile pod pilots in the system.
The station looks deserted, but a quick 360 degree scan shows enemy tagged Dominix and Raven class battleships as well as a Rook Combat Recon ship. We make it safely into the dock and Envey heads off to meet her new contact.
When she returns she explains her mission, which is simple enough, rescue a damsel from a life of slavery at a pleasure hub in the neighboring system of G-G78S.
Envey boards her Drake class Battlecruiser and slips in a new shield hardwiring implant she received as a loyalty reward. As I make some last minute tweaks to my Megathron class Battleship Envey undocks to find a waiting enemy Myrmidon Battlecruiser and the Rook. The Myrmidon unleashes his drones and the Rook jams the poor Drakes sensors silly. Moments later a Dominix Battleship undocks as well and unleashes his drones. Over the next several minutes three Raven Battleships show up to pound on Envey's Drake and I undock and join in with being jammed by the Rook. The Drake continues to take a beating from the four battleships and the battlecuiser, and after some time I manage to get a lock on one of the Ravens. I unleash my drones and fire my ion blasters into its shields and to my dismay I notice a Scimitar Logistics Cruiser appear and it begins remotely repairing the Ravens shields. There's no way I'm going to take it down now, so I recall my drones and turn off my modules and begin hailing the station for docking access. Of course they whine about my recent acts of aggression...
By this time the enemy ships have taken Envey's drake down below optimal shield and she quickly docks before they break into her squishy soft Caldari armor. All the enemy ships light up red on my overview and I see my shields evaporate like nothing! They slice through my armor as I repeatedly hammer the docking controls. As they finish off my armor I'm relieved to see my tank start to kick in. Their waves of missiles and circling cloud of drones barely chip into my hull. One says something I don't understand in Russian in the local channel. Weren't expecting a hull tank were they? I feel confident that I'll survive now, as I watch their damage slowly creep through my structure. At about 60% structure the my docking rights free up and I triumphantly join Envey in the docking bay.
Surviving against odds like that? I say it's a victory.

System: OSY-UD (Curse Region)

A quick scan of the system shows two hostile battleships, a Raven and a Rokh, with another two unknown pilots in space. A quick fiddle with the scanner and I pinpoint them both at one asteroid belt. Usually I would say my Megathron vs a Raven would be a fair fight, and engaging a Rokh would be risky, but I'm optimistic, (read cocky,) and decide to go for it. Landing in the belt I see that they are picking through the wrecks of a slaughtered Guardian Angel squad.
The two enemy ships are roughly the same distance from me, so I choose the Raven as my first target as I expect it to have a weaker tank. As I unleash my drones and open fire on the Raven's shields, the Rokh warps away! Abandoning his corp mate to die in the belt! The Raven doesn't stand a chance now, and as soon as her shields give out, her hull crumbles to wreckage, leaving me with some nice shield modules to sell back to the locals. I'm sure together they probably would have taken me down. Fear is a pod pilots greatest weakness in combat.

System: Y-DW5K (Curse Region)

Ben Booley, an old friend and ex-Coreli pilot now flying for the Guristas in The Black Rabbits Academy, flew down to Curse in his Crusader interceptor to join Yokujin and I for some good old roaming action. With Yoku piloting a Sabre class interdictor, I hopped my Megathron battleship again to bring some heavy damage output.
Our first victim of the night was the unfortunate Raven pilot from the day before. We spotted him traveling to a gate and caught his hauler jumping through. He was carrying a load a modules, probably taking his loot to market.

System: VOL-MI (Curse Region)

Scouting the system, Ben spots a Dominix battleship at a nearby planet. He warps to the planet to see the Dominix warping off to a nearby asteroid belt and quickly gives chase. Coming out of warp at the belt, Ben spots the Dominix cloaking, but he can't judge its position before it's gone.
With some incredibly quick thinking Yoku forms a plan to sweep the belt and decloak the ship. His plan works better and faster than we were expecting and we are almost caught off guard as the Dominix reappears.
The pilot targets Yokujin's interdictor with his heavy drones, but he is too fast for them and easily evades their fire. The enemy pilot goes down quickly, and extends his congratulations to us in the local channel. We thank him for his respect as we slice open his pod.
As we are picking through his loots, he hails me with a private conversation. "Damn I f I could of got that on fraps of how to catch a ratter cloaker that was it. Good show gents. Ok good night sirs and wow that made my eve month..maybe my year. Good stuff." It's rare and always nice to see a pilot who can take a loss, but I think its really great that he took the time to extend his praise for our work. I thank him and he signs out of the channel. I forward the conversation to Yoku and we laugh and Ben and I praise him for his quick thinking.

Not 10 minutes later as we are preparing to move on to replenish our charges and store our loot from the Dominix, my scouts report a hostile Sleipnir class Field Command Ship on the other side of the gate. I'm low on cap charges for my injector, and based on his corporation, we know that he has a sizable gang nearby which we spotted earlier, but he jumps in to me so I decide to go for it anyway. He has an incredible tank and is doing very respectable damage to me. Throughout the course of the fight I keep hesitating and swaying back and forth between committing and closing in and turning away to make a run for a nearby belt. We have nearly equivalent range. Whenever I sway away from him, my damage on him goes down, and his damage on me fades as well. Towards the end I stop wavering and commit fully to the fight. It's remarkably close but on my very last capacitor charge, with my hull burning at 35%, he finally caves.
Picking through the loot a find a remarkable tank fitting. I had no idea this could fit on a command ship. He had battleship sized X-Large tech 2 shield booster with a best named amplifier, a tech 2 damage control, a cap injector and even a full rack of tech 2 guns with dual gyrostabilizer II's.
Really an incredible setup. Makes me want to try one.
Anyway, from there I make it to the station with no real incident. The Sleipnir's gang shows up and sends us running to the stations in the system. They try to camp us, but we split up and Yoku distracts them as I make a run for it in my lumbering battleship.
