Calamity rushed down the empty street of the small village. She had to hurry! She'd be late soon and then what would she do?
Micheal would kill her, that's what would happen! She needed to be on time for dinner! He'd have worked all day on it and she still needed to find Sou. Where was the stubborn male? She sighed and stopped for a minute to rest. She deserved it after running almost a mile.

Xerxes slithered his way down the downtrodden path of a small village a bit ways off from his own home. His blue, green pupiled eyes were blank as they seemed to focus on the ground. The naga wasn't particularly out for sight-seeing, rather to just feel like he could blend in the crowd. Although, he couldn't seem to find the feeling in the belonging with such changes to his body that altered his hair, hair type, horns, ears, as well as lower body. It was a shocking change to him. He just didn't know how to cope with the sudden changes.

Calamity heard a noise and glanced up. Not too far off was a most excellent male specimen. She smiled and headed over to him. Her one blue and one amber eye taking in his shape and size, liking the fact that he was a Naga.
"Hello! How are you?" She said, as she stopped about five feet from him. She could feel her attraction to him quicken her blood flow. She hoped he liked her and that they could get to know each other better.

Xerxes stopped, catching sight of pink boots in front of him. Had he slithered any further, he would have ran into the anthro and toppled them over. His gaze turned up look at her, easily catching the happy vibe radiating off the rabbit. His eyes narrowed slightly before turning back to normal. He curtly nodded at the greeting, feeling quite odd someone was coming out of the blue to say 'Hi, how are you?'. The tip of his tail flicked behind him as he shifted his tail a bit to 'sit' comfortably on a coil. ".. Tired." He said honestly. ".. May I inquire why you're asking..?" His gaze started to wander off, finally taking notice to where he was.

Calamity tilted her head a bit, and gazed at the somewhat lonesome-looking face. She looked into his eyes, trying to get a good read on him when she decided he just needed a friend.
So she curbbed her normal flirtatious side and went with the total truth. "You looked sad and a bit lonely. I wanted to make sure you were okay." Well, at least it was part truth anyway.

Xerxes listened to her carefully. "I see.. I suppose your right. You should not be so easily concerned with others you do not know." The naga said thoughtfully, straightening up as he began to slowly slithering, at a pace that could be caught up to. He just needed the feeling of moving, even though it was to no where.

Calamity, while being a ditz, did understand a bit about people and she could tell that the Naga was restless. So she offered, "Would you like to walk with me to the lake? I was heading that way and I'd love company! Also, before anything else is said, we need to be introduced! I'm Calamity."

Xerxes turned his blue eyes that had green pupils to look over to the brightly dressed rabbit. "I suppose I could." He nodded at her introduction. "A pleasure, Calamity. You have a very unique name." He said softly, turning his eyes to look over to the path again. "I'm known as Xerxes." He said. The serpent was glad he had his name at least. Nothing could take his name away from him.
