Ny had been a little distant from the rest of the pride for a while, she hadn't planned to but giving birth to six cubs had taken it out of her more then she would have realised. She wanted to take her children to see their uncle at some point but she wasn't sure how to get all six to their uncles without one of them running off. Having kids were difficult.
She stood up and stretched a little before leaving the cave looking around, where was everyone?
"Ra?"
She sat down and sighed, she needed to find a way to keep hold of her family.
"Children?"
Hopefully they would come, she wasn't in the mood to go looking for them. She wanted to have her family together for a while. After all they needed to learn the ways of the pride somehow, though she was hoping she could throw the story telling onto Ra. She wasn't very good at story telling, she would teach the youngsters to hunt and Ra could teach them to fight. At least that is what she hoped.
Intuthu hadn't been too far from the den so heard his mother's call. It was a little odd because she didn't often call them though he didn't want to get in trouble so rushed back to the den, his little paws sliding on the sand grains every now and then.
"Mumma!"
He smiled and ran at her, pouncing to see if he could get her to play. He hoped that if he had done anything wrong that acting playful and things would make her forget. He couldn't see any of his siblings and hadn't seen them for a while. He was happy just wandering about making a fool of himself and as long as his parents didn't find out he didn't care what he did.

Shetani'tuka did what he did best - scratch things. He often returned to the same fallen, dry tree to rake his claws along it, pretending it was prey or some hapless rogue. If he wasn't scratching, he was leaping about in the grounded branches, practising and strengthening himself. Whatever his future might hold, he was going to be strong and prepared for it. Besides, it was loads of fun leaping about and trying to roar.
"RAWR!" he tried, still only childish in his voice.
On that leap, he over-shot slightly and tumbled from a branch. Thankfully, they weren't far from the dusty arid ground and he simply landed with a gentle thud and 'oof.' As he stood up and shook all the dust off, he spotted a white small blot in the horizon, disappearing into a dark blot on the horizon.
Well, as far as Shetani was concerned, it could only be one of his white siblings. Who else would have white brothers? Eager to play tag or chase, he made his way towards the dark blot.
The sound of his mother's voice drifted across the parched air as he got closer to the cave, and like Intuthu, he aired on the side of caution and entered the cave maybe preparing for being in trouble.
His mother was there, angelic in white, and his brother pouncing about, almost disappearing into his mother's form. Well, Shetani just couldn't help himself, and he ran in as fast as he could and greeted his brother by means of a pounce!

Ilahlehad been basking, just outside the family den, on the shelf of sand-dusted rock that made up the top of the cave mouth. She'd been daydreaming on her side, claws flexing in and out as they kneaded the air. Sometimes her black fur was horrible out here, but at this time of the day it was pleasant just to soak up the sun. But her paws lay a sand lizard. Oh yes, she was happy today. A successful hunt again thanks to the guidance she'd been given in the past from days and a good time dozing in the warm. Perfect. And her mother calling only made it better - her dear mother had always seemed so tired - and she happily got to her feet to go see her. "Coming mama!" With a yawn and a stretch, she picked up the lizard in her small jaws and started to make her way down the rock. Still a little sleepy, she took delicate and careful steps, with a final bound down to the sand. She dropped the izard at her mother's feet, sitting down with a proud smile. Ny was her idol, even if she'd been out of it for a while.

Maadui'ripuka was creeping through the tall grasses. Well, there wasn't much tall grass, but what little there was at least made for adequate cover while he crawled along in it. He made a low, throaty growling noise as he moved, closer and closer to imaginary prey. His claws appeared and traced a couple of lines as he quietly raised his paw... But this little hunt was over sooner than he anticipated when a voice called for him and his siblings. His ear flicked in the direction of the noise. After a moment of selfish annoyance at being interrupted, his entire head poked up from the grassy patch like a meerkat's. It was his mother, and there were the other cubs flocking toward her. His claws sheathed and he began to pad slowly toward the den. He yearned to hunt, and if she had no good reason to gather everyone...

Moto'Spaki grinned.
He was doing great, oh yes. Just a lil bit more, and he'd pounce that weird wiggling thing under the sand and-- dammnit. Where did it go?! He snorted, and moved out of his stalk. Stalking was almost useless for a lost case such as Spaki; he stood out bluntly against the sand. But still!
He snorted as he searched the path the wiggling thing had left, and found it moving again, but just as he lifted his paw to stomp on it-- mum called. Perhaps it wa sbest, he still didn't know if this was poisonous or not. Now the wiggliggnt hing wasn't so interesting, and the white cub scampered off to locate his mum.
She was easy to find; he looked so much like her! White was easy. "Hi mum! " Spaki said, but like his siblings, remained cautious. It was all too much like mum to call them forperhaps some scolding.
However, when he saw his sister, and his two brothers, Shetani having gone for Intuthu, he felt it was his -job- to get his sister in the game. And with a rush, moved to ram his head at her shoulder; perhaps push her over!! Of course, he wouldn't be -too- rough. Not infront of mum, anyway. "Watch out, sis! Its a vultmer! " He teased.

Tekua was lazily napping in what little shade there was when he heard his mother call out, he was a largely inactive cub, not as full of boistrous curiosity as others his age, more inclined to sleep the day away than struggle through the sands, overheated by his black fur. He uncurled and stretched nevertheless though, not wanting to get scolded over a silly catnap. When he was on his feet, he turned and bounded back to the den where he figured his mother would be. Ra hadn't actually been far off either when Ny called out, amusingly, he was more inclined to play around than Tekua was. When he heard Ny's voice he'd been boredly loping along after a little buzzing insect which he'd occaisionally leap up and snap it with the casual grace of a lion used to hunting much bigger prey. He had no intention of catching it though, and turning around, he let it zip off into the dunes and padded back to the cave, already seeing quite a few of the kids there already. He let out a low affectionate rumble as he walked in, tail flicking at his velvety paws. "Yeah?" he asked with a smirk.

Ny was somewhat shocked and surprised that all her cubs came but she was more amused at her mate turning up with a smirk on his face. She couldn't help but let out a giggle followed by a soft purr like rumble.
"Hello children." She looked down and counted them, yep all six were here. She had her cubs pouncing at her and pouncing each other and it was the cutest thing to see ever. She stood up and shook the cubs off watching them pounce each other before moving towards Ra and giving him a soft nuzzle.
"Good thing you arrived, they can hunt you!" She chuckled softly and looked down at the six cubs again.
"Who wants to hunt your father?" Her golden eyes darting from one cub to the next. She was so proud of all of them.
Intuthu was knocked down by the pounce from his brother and then it seemed that the others came one by one. His sister and then his three other brothers. He wriggled free from Shetani and ran towards Tekua trying to pounce him as he got closer.
His father arrived as well which made Intuthu smile. Yay his family was together, loads of others to play with! This made the young white cub very happy indeed!

Shetani didn't want to let Intuthu wriggle away, but it seemed it was now too busy to keep track of him! Not only had more siblings arrive, but his strapping father too! Shetani was always in awe of his father, and needn't have answered his mother's question - he charged towards Ra and leapt into his mane.
"I got him!" he struggled to stay in the mass of dark fur.

To her credit, Ilahle didn't even look up when he brother teased her about her fear of the scavenging birds they called 'vultmers' in cubspeak. She was still scared of them, they were her nightmare...but she was with her whole beloved family and the dark lion cub knew no vulture'd dare rish her parents wrath. They were the real cowards.
Besides she was busy enjoying the fun tumble that was her family and she was as proud of her brothers as her parents were. And hunting father? That could be fun...
