Welcome to the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Battle contest!
The winner of the contest would, of course, be able call themself the champion, but they will also walk away with eight thousand of these! 
Up to 16 trainers may take this challenge, 15 have answered the call.

Will you answer the call? The Restrictions Just as any contest before this one, this contest has its restrictions, but the restictions are simple to bypass though. To enter the contest you must first pay a small 500 gold to XxGAME_B0YxX to buy one of the 16 passes.
That is the first restriction and the only one to enter the contest all other restrictions are a part of the contest themself.
They are as follows.
The contest is a wifi turnament, level 100 set. All pokemon other then ubers are allowed. Ubers are defined in this list.

When It All Begins
When the contest begins it will be a nice simple turnament number 1 will vs. number 2, number 3 will vs. number 4, etc. just like in this picture. At the end the victor will get the gold! All credit for designing this post goes to Zetshimaru! Thanks so much!

I think a Cultie, Xiloscent, already has a Pokemon tourney going on if I am not mistaken.

yeah, I think i'll enter this competition, but i'll pay later, once you get more entrants.
oh BTW, I WON, the gym tourny thing I held with the highest score... I know for sure i'll be using some of my gym leader pokemon. along with my master team of PWNAGE!

I'd enter if the prize equalled up to all the entry fees combined. stare
I think profitting on Gaia from copyrighted things is against the ToS, be it Pokemon battles, stolen art, whatever.
And a better rule would be "no items". Full Restores can make battles go on a long time...

sorry, I'll change the rules a little. I've actually never FOUGHT online, so I assumed you couldn't use items. I'm also pretty sure that I'm not breaking the TOS.

Actually, you CAN use items online, but let's make it fun and without handicaps =)
OH! And I forgot, let's go without Event Pokemon (since most of them are hacked, and it's no fun at all if everyone started using Darkrai or Arceus)

I'm down for some action count me in, it be also cooler if we didn't have any uber legendary because i mean come on it shows if you got skill when you use regular pokemon instead of pokemon the game gives you on steroids lol.
