Act One: Plot
~
Four orphans banded together at an orphanage, each one was different and yet each felt as though they were the same. The four children played together and ultimately grew up together. They shared laughs, tears, pain and one by one they each grew up slightly. But they're happy times were cut short as each were adopted and on the last night together each bought a little charm to keep a reminder of each other. Little did they know that they would be reunited at high school, and who know that it would be the youngest who would bring them all together by the way of a band. The band is called Kings of the Kilburn High, but will this band strengthen there friendship or will it strain it? Will it be enough to keep the bonds strong, or will love interviewer? You decide!

Act two: Rules.
* These rules are not meant to offend anyone, they are merely guidelines, I know that all of you are Literate writers and understand the rules. I merely lay out all my rules like this for all my role plays.*
1) DO NOT GOD MODE OR POWER PLAY! I swear to jebus I will beat you over the head with a metaphorical blunt object! Godmodding- (Adj.) when a Role Player makes his or her character out to be invincible, and no one can do damage to them. They are not affected by any such blast or damage. Ex: Quote: Sally hits Roy with a laser beam. Roy deflects the blast and is not affected in any way by her attack. Power playing - (Adj.) This is when a Role player automatically hits their opponents with their weapon or spell, making it quite difficult to give the other Role Player a chance to attack. Ex. Quote: Roy slashed at Sally and watched the blood run down her arm.
2) No one liners, I’m sick of labeling my Rp’s as Semi-literate to literate and people still think that they can write one sentence. I do wish all the newbies on here good luck but please do not come here thinking that you are a semi-literate roleplayer when you only type one to two sentences. Forgive me if I have offended anyone.
3) Please PM me if you know you won't be on for a week or so, but please do it two days or so in advanced. I'll make an exception if you let me know that day but please give me a reason. I don't thinking I'm being unfair in saying this only because I will need to find a temp for your character while you are away. When you return please let me know via Pm so that I can catch you up on the Rp.
4) Do not just take a character, post a few times and then leave the Rp without warning me!! It’s rude and it leaves the character you are supposed to be playing unavailable to people who probably could be Role playing as that character. So please just send me a friendly little Pm that states you can't take the character on anymore. I will send you a Pm as a warning if I see that you are inactive for a long period of time.
5) Do not kill off a character unless He/She says its alright. This is why the wonderful invention of Pm's are given to us! ^.^
6) STAY IN CHARACTER!!!!!!! Dimitri isn't going to be leaping in fields of roses and pronouncing his undying love for Shamus. Although that would be quiet humors ...just don't do it.
7) Be Semi-literate to Literate, I am not dealing with Noobs. I'm sorry I really do wish you all luck with your own Role plays. But I do like my Role Plays to be some what legible.
cool No absolutely no cybering. Go take it to Pm’s or Im's not here. It’s sick and degrading. Go in the privacy of your own home and use your left hand and your imagination. >.>
9) Please please please, no *, - or :: for actions!!!!! Type your posts in third person format, which means something like this: Rena walked threw the door and as she passed the smell of jasmine permeated threw the house. Do not write something like this: -I walked to the beach- Hi sally! -She looked pissed-. Also please use punctuation. I know most of us passed the 3rd grade so we all should know what a . does! Or even a !(exclamation point.) along with " " (Quotations) I shouldn't have to explain this any further.
10) Keep the Rp rated Pg-16, I will allow a moderate amount of swearing but remember you aren't going to see Nuns running around saying words like s**t, or damn. They don't do that...I can understand a few characters, if they stub there toe or they're girl friend just broke up with them. But if they are saying s**t every five seconds I will not tolerate it.
11) My word is law. Enough said, don't like it...leave.
12) Use (( )) or {{ }} for Occ, I am a sucker for Occing to much! But we all have our little habits! XD

Name: Brooke Alistar.

Band Instrument: Mandolin, Violin, Keyboards if they're called for it.
Personality: Brook is kind and sweet, everything you'd expect from a girl so innocent, but there’s a side of her that she rarely shares with anyone, even her band mates. That side is one of pure sorrow, she puts on a mask at times and other times she really is happy.
Bio: Raised with good care at the orphanage she played the damsel in distress as the boys fought between them for her safety. She remembers all her childish memories which she cherishes in a small shoe box where her photos as well as all the rocks are and shells the boys had given her as a going away present.
It wasn't until she was adopted that everything changed for Brooke, the family was unstable. The mother was a very kind woman who wanted to see the bright smile of a little girl; although unbeknown to her she was sick from a virus that slowly killed her from the inside. The father on the other hand was an alcoholic and verbally abusive. Of course the father put on a mask one that he hid very well from the operators at the orphanage. The mother was overjoyed to bring a child home; she taught Brooke everything about making dinners and helping around the house. Brook was the sparkle in the women eyes, and when the father would go out and drink she would stand in the way of his blows protecting little brook until she was on her death bed. When the sickness took Brooke's mothers heart it tore her apart the innocent girl from before was no more, only a hollow being. She now acts like a maid when she is at home so she spends most of her time at school, just to get away from her father. It was on one of her many trips to the band room that she found a Mandolin and started playing it. The sound was amazing and it stuck with her, so playing the instrument along with the piano she let her fingers fly a crossed the keys, so after everyday after school she would sit in the abandoned music room and play the instrument.

Other: Around her neck is a single pick to a guitar that was black the others had the same one except each had a different color stripe running down it. She holds onto when she needs to feel loved.

Bio:
Naomi grew up in a relatively nice home. Her parents were well off enough to provide her with a good life. Even from a young age, she showed signs of a passion for photography. She would take the cameras from around the house, clicking every few seconds. She took pictures of whatever there was around, family, pets, even random objects about the house. As she gew older, her skill with a camera also grew. She would always have a rather nice camera with her on school trips, taking photos that were often used in the yearbooks. Now, her favourite class in highschool is, you guessed it, photography. She aspires to becoming a world class photographer, taking pictures wherever and of whatever is asked for. Her latest obsession, taking pictures of Shamus and Remus, especially when they are playing. She has a secret passion for music as well, but she rarely tells anyone, as she doesn't think she is very good at it. If you're lucky, you might catch her singing quietly to herself, but that is extremely rare. She always takes her digital camera with her, carrying it her bag. However, her pride and joy is a beautiful, and rather expensive, manual camera. It takes excellent pictures, and it is what she uses when taking pictures of the band, giving her the best quality of photos. Since she grew up in a nice home, with loving parents, she often doesn't know what its like to have anything else. She has a tendancy to feel guilty about how well off she has been, while her best friend has been dealt a rather crueler fate. She makes up for this guilt by trying to help her friends out whenever she can, and by being overly protective of Brooke.

Bio: Emily is one of Scarlett's "Girls". She never wanted to be one, though. Emily is pretty, but not as pretty as Scarlett...and that's just what the "queen of the school" wanted. Emily isn't one to stand up for herself, though, and since Scarlett seemed nice at first she gave in and joined her group. That's when the trouble started. Emily was always pushed to the back of the group, there as an accessory for Scarlett. Scarlett just wanted her group to consist of all the beautiful people in the world of high school. Now Emily is trapped between Scarlett and freedom, but is too afraid of what could happen. She's seen the way Scarlett treats those who betray her, and it's not pretty. Emily has a very softspoken and gentle personality and so has no way out, as well as no way to tell people how she feels. When Dimitri was adopted, she was there to meet him, but didn't. She lives in the house next door to him, and has always wanted to at least get to know him. She knows of his feelings for Brooke, though, and so had never even said hi to him. She's now just hoping for a miracle, or another guy to come along and sweep her off her feet. She's very sensitive, and gets her feelings hurt easily, but never lets it show for fear of Scarlett's reaction.
Crush: Dimitri, but knowing of his feelings she still looks for other guys.
Other: Besides playing Keyboard, Emily is a painter, and a very good one at that. She loves to paint the scenery of her back yard, which is located next to a small wooded area. There's a creek running next to it that leads to a little pond. She's a sucker for nature, and animals, but thanks to Scarlett's controlling ways, she was never allowed to join art or anything that didn't appeal to Scarlett.

Act Seven: Banners.
Please don't steal my banner or any other banners that might be on here, people worked hard to make these. Only place the banner in your signature if you are a current Role Player in this Rp. I also have some banners up that weren’t made by me or the other Role Players, I give sole owner ship and rights to those images and banners to the artist that I have labeled. Although I try not to use banners made by others, as I prefer to make them myself I do not discourage any Role Players from making banners. Feel free in fact I encourage it!
