Man tokusatsu is such a small community do you think gaia will give it a chance to be noticed? I hope so!
SMALL!? Wow some people are just so close mindedI'm guessing you only go to Gaia and youtube for toku, wow you must not know anything of toku until it hits youtube.

If the community was so small as you think it is why would MagiGreen, DekaGreen, and DekaPink be invited (and actually come) to the US for conventions? DekaGreen and DekaPink was moreover for their anime voice acting roles but MagiGreen was solely MagiRanger.
The whole Sentai fans in the US Started with...either Gingaman or GoGo V, their were fans prior MMPR in the US but very VERY few, most ended up working on MMPR. Fansubs were first done on VHS, sold on VHS back in the days of dial up. Igadevil told me how it was like pre-2000's for fansubs.
Now theres a good amount of Dekaranger fans...or at least those that know of Deka, in the US due to it being very anime-ish itself (inspired by many major anime's such as Kiddy Grade and Bubblegum Crisis). So really I'd say about a 20% of the anime community watches sentai but not really into the whole fandom.
Sorry I just had to rant, I always have had a feeling that their are going to be TONS of toku fans on gaia thinking that the only toku community there is in the US is on Gaia when Gaia is the 2nd worst US toku community there is...sorry but its the truth
sad ...you guys are just way too small...at least we aren't RangerTalk
rofl the laughing stalk of the Toku community due to being run by 13 year olds (LITERALLY) and them not knowing s**t about Japan, Fansubbing Technology, and everything in general.
Oh and I'd say theres about.......
50,000-70,000 Toku fans apart of the community in the US, due to member count of Japan Hero, HJU, and Rangerboard. Fans in general I'd say about
700,000, I mean at Anime Cons I've seen at least 20-40 Toku (namely just Sentai or Kamen Rider Den-O fans) there. And theres a good amount of toku fans here in Las Vegas, Micheal Joe Red Mask (one of the major TVN Typesetters and translators) used to live here, I bought some of my 90's Sentai stuff from him, he moved to Japan teaching english.
One more thing, the Super Sentai Following in Japan isn't all that big, like I've seen a few cosplayers at Stage Shows, and only 1 or 2 fan prop makers and suit makers (as compared to the US Community's 30 or so fan prop/suit makers on Rangerboard). Japan Toku boards and 101fwy rarely mention Sentai, Kamen Rider, Spiderman, and Ultraman are frequently mentioned, especially Ultraman & Spiderman.
