I heard from one of my Gaia buddies, that there were suppose to be some "Gaia Ranger" or something to that effect, items coming out. Is this true, and if so does anyone know what they are going to look like or have any image proof of their coming exitence. I'm gullible, your word is really enough to convince me and keep my heart floating on air about this! Hahaha!

Someone has shown me photos of what looked like a Gaia-themed Super Sentai suit once. Not sure how official it was though.

"Are you still planning on releasing the G Rangers items that were shown with the squid costume at a convention last year?"

--- Sure am! Just don't know when, or how yet. XD

Who wrote the answer to that question Masamune? If its Lanzer then I don't believe he intends to ever release it xd I just hope talking to the producer of the battle system made it possible to have suits appear in that, since you can get items in it.

That costume rocks! I hope they eventually release it.

LOL Jetman meets Viewtiful Joe with that G-Ranger.

I they are also making a Power Morpher for Johnny Yong Bosch's Gaia account if they can ever convince JYB to get a gaia.

Man tokusatsu is such a small community do you think gaia will give it a chance to be noticed? I hope so!

Uhh is it just me, or isn't the gaia cash shop a way to release whatever they want? Infact. I think they said in their pitch about that.

Announcement
We can't even count the number of times we've had a cool idea for an item, but thought "that's way too complicated to be a Collectible," or "that's not quite complicated enough to be a Collectible." With the release of Gaia Cash, we can be much more flexible. The Gaia Cash Shop will let us do a few very interesting things for you guys

I still don't see those suits sweatdrop

toku's only a small community in the US (probably because of the cheesiness of PR), but in Japan, stuff like Ultraman and Sentai have huge followings (as, seemingly, does everything).

SMALL!? Wow some people are just so close minded

I'm guessing you only go to Gaia and youtube for toku, wow you must not know anything of toku until it hits youtube.

henshinjustice.com
rangerboard.com
japanhero.com (the guys that started the first toku community back in 2001)
supersentai.com
tvnihon.com
henshinonline.com? forgot the url, owner is the famous August Ramone who recently released a new book on the late/great Eiji Tsuburaya
101fwy.net
4chan's /m/
igadevil.com

If the community was so small as you think it is why would MagiGreen, DekaGreen, and DekaPink be invited (and actually come) to the US for conventions? DekaGreen and DekaPink was moreover for their anime voice acting roles but MagiGreen was solely MagiRanger.

The whole Sentai fans in the US Started with...either Gingaman or GoGo V, their were fans prior MMPR in the US but very VERY few, most ended up working on MMPR. Fansubs were first done on VHS, sold on VHS back in the days of dial up. Igadevil told me how it was like pre-2000's for fansubs.

Now theres a good amount of Dekaranger fans...or at least those that know of Deka, in the US due to it being very anime-ish itself (inspired by many major anime's such as Kiddy Grade and Bubblegum Crisis). So really I'd say about a 20% of the anime community watches sentai but not really into the whole fandom.

Sorry I just had to rant, I always have had a feeling that their are going to be TONS of toku fans on gaia thinking that the only toku community there is in the US is on Gaia when Gaia is the 2nd worst US toku community there is...sorry but its the truth sad ...you guys are just way too small...at least we aren't RangerTalk rofl the laughing stalk of the Toku community due to being run by 13 year olds (LITERALLY) and them not knowing s**t about Japan, Fansubbing Technology, and everything in general.

Oh and I'd say theres about.......50,000-70,000 Toku fans apart of the community in the US, due to member count of Japan Hero, HJU, and Rangerboard. Fans in general I'd say about 700,000, I mean at Anime Cons I've seen at least 20-40 Toku (namely just Sentai or Kamen Rider Den-O fans) there. And theres a good amount of toku fans here in Las Vegas, Micheal Joe Red Mask (one of the major TVN Typesetters and translators) used to live here, I bought some of my 90's Sentai stuff from him, he moved to Japan teaching english.

One more thing, the Super Sentai Following in Japan isn't all that big, like I've seen a few cosplayers at Stage Shows, and only 1 or 2 fan prop makers and suit makers (as compared to the US Community's 30 or so fan prop/suit makers on Rangerboard). Japan Toku boards and 101fwy rarely mention Sentai, Kamen Rider, Spiderman, and Ultraman are frequently mentioned, especially Ultraman & Spiderman.

Theres a really cool topic for this but I won't post where. I was asked to take it down after people spammed the topic instead of being constructive. A real shame too as I thought this guild would help in the effort, not prove to be an annoyance. confused

Wow! There's an item I might actually use REAL money to buy instead of using my gold (^w^)

Hai Tien: I'd have to agree with the prior that we are relatively small, seeing as we're a niche community in a niche market (although many would argue that anime is no longer a niche....) But then again, I think a lot of the tokusatsu fans wouldn't be fans if EVERYONE was into it. Again, that's just me (^^;

I agree. The reason some people think it doesn't have a huge community is because it's a niche market. I kinda like it like this, where it's not as huge as something like Naruto or DBZ in America. Then again, Power Rangers was huge and brought along other Toku by Saban like Beetleborgs, Masked Rider and VR Troopers. (Which were all butchered, but still)

Then there was Ultraman Tiga. And Godzilla.

But it's not as huge within the general American community/culture as much as Japan.
