X-posted at the SMGSince I didn't even want to click on the other Jacob thread in here (I'm still trying to get over the horror), here's a brand-spankin' new Jacob casting thread! In fact, I think I'll make a couple of stickies for various actor casting then have "BLAH BLAH should play BLAH BLAH" threads as regular threads.
ANYWAY, back to Jake. Right now, my first choice is Tyler.
Second would be Steven.
"He's at the funeral."
No third because it's so hard to find a good Jacob ><;;
BUT, I was browsing the Book forum when I saw a thread on A Great and Terrible Beauty...
Which led to the imdb page for the movie...
Which led to a thread in the discussion about who could play Kartik...
Which led to Kunal Khemu:
He didn't jump out at me at first, but taking a second look, he looks pretty yummy handsome.
Problem is, I have no idea if he speaks English xD

Tyler and Kunal don't seem right at all, but I think Steven is great.

I thought Steven Strait was absolutely perfect at first, but now he's too old to play a younger Jake.

The Kraken I thought Steven Strait was absolutely perfect at first, but now he's too old to play a younger Jake.
My thought was always, Twilight!Jake = Tyler and NewMoon!Jake = Steven. Too bad the two don't look anything alike though x__x

Joe Jonas (in the middle...I think)
Somebody mentioned him. I don't think he's an actor, but they liked his looks and so did I ;P

I think Tyler could pull of Jacob. The other two are obviously older than 17.
Jacob's only 15....right?

I think that if we gave him the long hair again that he could pull it off......plus I heard that he loved his wig so much from the movie Sky High that he's growing it out!!!! BONUS POINTS!!!!!!! Plus if Stephenie thought that he looked perfect for the roll then who's going to argue with her....

Steven with that long cut is PERFECT for the older version, but Tyler is way better for the younger. gonk
I prefer Steven Strait, but they'll probably end up using someone like Tyler, wait for them to age a bit, then shoot New Moon. xp
