So, I'm starting up my first CoLang, and I'm wondering if this verb conjugation system will work out in the long run.
Basically, I decided that all verbs will end in "ii" for easy identification... and because I don't want to confuse myself.
I've also only got 5 tenses of the verb, Present, Past, Progressive, Future, and of course, Infinitive.
All right, now to actually conjugate a verb for everyone.
The verb to run is Kardii, meaning the conjugation goes like this.
(All in the "I" Form, mind you)
Present= Kardii'to
Past= Kardii'toi
Progressive= Kardii'toan
Future= Kardii'tei
Can anyone point out any major pitfalls in this system, or am I in the clear?

I'd say your in the clear. =)
I assume you don't conjugate according to the personal pronouns this way, either, and that always makes things easier to learn. ^_^
But why "ii"? Why not just "i"? Or is there a difference in pronunciation? =)

There's a slight difference, not big enough to notice. I pretty much put it in there to make it more visibly appealing... makes it look less like any languages I know of.

It looks fine.
However, what does the apostrophe mean? How does one denote moods such as conditional and subjunctive? Are there any ways to specify things such as the pluperfect?
Also, infinitives aren't always necessary, unlike you seem to think. Goodness knows Aquénandi has none!

I dunno why, but I just can't get the concept down... sweatdrop Anywho! Aquénandi doesn't have the infinitive? Coolio. And Niora doesn't have conditional, subjunctive or pluperfect, come to think of it... hmm...

A bunch of the Balkan languages, while having infinitives, avoid using them. Romanian, Serbian, Croatian... they all use different forms of the verb other than the infinitive to get things across.

Spanish is really useful here in New Mexico. Both my maternal grandparents speak it, as do several of my friends. My paternal grandfather, however, speaks Italian. I need to learn it. D: And a bunch of my friends speak Korean and Chinese too.
