i was wondering if any of you have ever had a dream and then had it come true exactly the way you dreamed it down the line. Do you think that it is possible to do such things as see an event in the future through your dream or do you think that it is just a coincidence? I'd really like to know what you all think about it. if you need a specific example i can give you some from my own experience.

not exactly, but I have had dreams that were portents of something to come. for example, I had a friend who I hadnt heard from in a long time and had no way of getting in touch with myself, I had a dream I got an email from him one night, tho I dont remember the contents of it, I woke up knowing I'd be hearing from him soon, and I did a day or so later but he called instead of emailed. tho I really do wish I couldve remembered what the emails said. smile
I do think, that when we get genuine deja vou it is from a dream we had at some point yet never really remembered it.
and yes, I do believe that the future could be revealed thru dreams. they could be warnings to stop something you're doing and showing you what will happen if you dont. I think it's part of what we call intuition, only heightened. and I think everyone has it to some degree. I dont believe in coincidence.

I used to have those prediction dreams a few times a month. Then when I hit 7th grade I began to get them less and less. Now I have them a few times a year. I had one come true three weeks ago at the Stubenville Confrence in my state. I was walking down the hall while talking with some friends. The predcition dreams have never been much, usually a conversation exact right down to the last detail; sometimes some insignificant event. They used to freak me out, but I'm fairly certain everyone has them on the occasion so I no longer care.

I had something like that happen to me when I was in 6th grade. Though it didn't happen exactly like the dream. The only part I even remember of the dream is me looking down on some guy. Me and another guy were in a tree house. Just staring at him. That's basically all I can remember. ^^' The next day at school the teacher said we had a new student in the class and there was the kid we were looking down on. It was very weird. : O

I don't know to classify them as dreams or not, but a few years back here's what happened:
I was in my room (which at the time was all the way downstairs and through a garage-solitary place), and I remember seeing her in her room..she was having a seizure, I'm not sure whether I saw this awake or in my sleep. I felt myslef jump inside, it was dark outside-early in the morning, and I had this strange feeling something serious was going to happen. I ran up the stairs, and into her room, I just watched her..then I saw it like in a nightmare. my little sister's face was turning blue and she bgan to tremble with jerky movements. I got our parents and she was taken to the hospital-later said to have a rare seizure condition (different from mine), that attacked at night.
..there were a few other events where I've come to the aid of someone, either by instinct or premonition-I suppose, one time was my mom.. I was in class and suddenly felt funny-can't really explain it, other than a feeling that I was supposed to be somewhere else.. I excused myself from class, it wasn't a lie-I wasn't feeling well in a way. My dad was at work and my little sister, at the time was too young to have done anything; a mere infant. I reached the office and called my mom, she sounded okay, but I was sur it was to do with her..and by the time ( a few hours later) school was let out, I felt it stronger-and as the bus neared our street I told the driver to stop (substitue at that time-didn't know where I really lived), I wan't going o ait for him to go in a circle thn back to my house-as was the route. I ran home-a couple blocks away-and to the back door..I don't normally do this-I found it unlocked-this was unusual. When I got in the house, I could see my mom, clinging to a wall, she fell as I reached her. An ambulence and my dad came and everything was okay in the end, it was a seizure, and she fainted-is wat they said..

I've never had a dream that was so clear that I remembered it and then saw it come true. The closest I've come is having those strange moments of deja vu and then thinking "I think I dreamed that!". I do think it's possible though, but only because I've got a friend wh calls me every now and then to tell me a dream she had and then wind up watching the news and seeing the dream she had being broadcast with every last detail she told me. I have to admit I don't envy her for it. I always thought it would be amazing to be able to see events before they happened, but she only ever sees catastrophies and I have to think it would be awful to be able to see these sorts of things and not be able to do anything helpful about it.
