He frowned slightly, crossing his forelimbs over each other as he laid down on the sofa in the place he calls home. That was something, something of utmost importance, tugging at him at the back of his mind. Something related to the female he felt so... Natural with.
Was his demon self telling him to forget?
Sesshoumaru closed his eyes as he tried to think back. Yes... He does remember that special night with Vynnessia, how he had enjoyed just being with her. How he hoped that she felt the same way. No matter how hard his subconscious wants him to forget, he know that he could never do that. Never.
He opened his golden eyes, blinking for a moment as he laid on the sofa in a daze. He had a feeling that she would be coming tonight...

Vynnessia sat on a rock on the edge of a lake staring at the crescent moon in the night sky. Stars sparkled around she shining crescent. Her tails swayed in the cool night breeze. Moonbeams danced on the lake in front of her and made it sparkle beautifully. It was a perfect night in every respect. Vynnessia tore her gaze away from the sky remorsefully she had come not to stargaze but to tell some one something important.
She took one last glance at the sky before leaping off the rock and continuing forward with many thoughts on her mind.
A feeling she hadn’t felt be for had come forth. Loving family and loving friends. It was different than that. She wasn’t sure why. It was a different feeling that felt like more. Spending a special evening together was something she would never regret. A few days after she had found out she was going to be with children. She was excited and worried in the same instant. She was on her way to tell him.
Clear blue eyes looked onward through the darkness as she walked to where he lived. She could have apparated but she still had a few things to think about so it was best not to, and the night was beautiful.
The house came into view Vynnessia paused and then took a deep breath before coming closer. Wasn’t being nervous natural?

He don't know how, but he could sense her presence... And that presence was approaching his house. As she came nearer, Sesshoumaru stood up and leaped down from the sofa, landing silently on the carpeted floor as he slowly walked over to the door.
Part of him wanted to open the door immediately, and escort Vyn in before she even knocked. Part of him wanted to wait and better brace himself for her arrival... He shook his head, and sat down at the door. He would go with the second decision; after all, he had no intention of scaring her.
Moving his tails from side to side, he left out another frown. Why was she here? Not that he wasn't pleased; he was delighted. However, it is late, and late-night visits are not too common, even among friends.

Vynnessia walked quickly as she neared the house. It was rude to apparate into anothers house. She didn't know if he was even there, but still she should at least try. If her senses were as strong as his she would have known.
Nearing the door Vynnessia stopped and knocked three times on the door. Best to be polite. Even if coming so late wasn't. The evening calmed her enough to come.

The knocking came, earlier than he had expected.
Sesshoumaru waited for a few seconds, preparing himself, before he opened the door. Trying hard not to sound like he had been expecting her, although he had been spending a lot of time hoping for her to visit, the male gave a nod as he stepped aside to allow her in, "What brings you here at this hour?"

Vynnessia smiled stepping in still wondering how she should tell him. She was happy to see him still and she listened when he asked. It was a valid question her coming so late. She should tell the truth and not avoid it anymore than she was already.
The blue-eyed kitsu smiled again "I came because I wanted to." Vynnessia said then added "I also have something important to tell you." choking on the words that had to come out but didn't. It came out differently than she thought.
Why couldn't she have just said it right then? She would try again in a moment.

"Hm... Yes, do come on in then," Sesshoumaru nodded, smiling a little, and closed the door as he led Vyn into the living room. Once in the living room, he sat down in front of the sofa; it was only polite to allow the guest to sit down first.
"Have a sit." He gestured towards the sofa with his front paw, "Would you care for anything to eat or drink?"

Vynnessia smiled kindly and followed him to the living room. He had smiled, Vynnessia was happy, he had been smiling more often and it made her happy so see he wasn't so protective of showing his emotions. She politely took his offer and sat down on the couch nearest to him.
"Yes please" she said, "Some green tea would be nice. Thank you." she smiled Green tea would help her relax just a bit. Nervousness consumed her still.
What would he think? she wonded.

Sesshoumaru nodded, and turned to walk towards an open arch at the back and into the kitchen. He opened a cupboard, and took out two small cups and a teapot. He then proceeded to make a pot of tea. He reappeared in the living room later, pushing a small trolley with the teapot and two teacups on it.
Curse the lack of fingers to hold a tray.
"Here," He pushed a cup filled with green tea towards Vyn, and took one for himself. "You said that you had something important to tell me"

Vynnessia smiled and took the tea gratefully. Taking a little sip made her feel better. Vynnessia nodded "I do," she smiled. Vynnessia was sure after the pressure had worn off she would be ecstatic that she would be a mother finally. But for right now she was still rather nervous.
She took a deep breath and paused for a moment then all at once she blurted out "I'm going to have your children!" Vynnessia then took another drink of tea quickly to calm her down or at least try to. She felt better getting off her chest to one person…
Now... To see how he would react and if he even caught that...

"Oh," Sesshoumaru replied, talking a sip of tea. Swallowing it, the words suddenly sank in, and he found himself pausing in mid-air with the cup near his lips. Placing the cup down, he looked Vyn in the eyes as he tried to see if she was joking. When he saw her expression, he blinked.
"We're going to be parents?" It came out a little choked, "But... But..."
The male shook his head, "This is all so quick... But... I... I... I'm really happy." He nudged Vyn gently with his maw. He really was happy, although more than just a little surprised.

Vynnessia waited for the words to sink in; after all she had spoken as fast as she could. Vynnessia took another drink of tea trying to force her to stay calm. She showed him the fact she wasn't joking. If she had been it would be a bad one. She smiled.
The scarfed kitsu nodded again "Yes we are going to be parents." she told him again this time slower, trying to make herself feel better at the same time considering the telling of her family was next.
She had to agree it was a little fast. But still, she enjoyed being with this other kitsu More than just a simple friend. Vynnessia smiled. At least he was happy. She could feel it, but it was to be expected the sudden surprise. She had reacted more the same way just much more energetic. She nudged him back gently with a soft smile. Thank god he had accepted it.

He didn't feel very grand; his reaction was less than dignified. He sounded like a lost person... Actually, he felt like a lost person right now. The feelings inside him... There used to be only an empty space, filled with nothing but a quest for power.
It was now filled with something that last for a much longer time...
"I wonder... What it'll be like." He mused out loud, suddenly thinking about his late father. "Having... Children..."
