 The morning just broke to day, as the sun was now in the middle of the sky. Though, that didn't seem to bother a male spotted Ulaya as he slowly made his way through the forest. His tail still and now to the ground. His ears slightly back as if annoyed, and his face in a sort of glare. He seemed in a rather bad mood all together.
He gave a slight snort to himself as he continued in a fast walk. His irritation had grown since now his kids were adults, though he wouldn't admit to himself that was the reason why he was angry. Though, it was also good they were adults. Half of them would become strong and worth having as children. Though, there were a few bad apples, one still even though he was a female. He would have to change that, or hope to god a female would change that. He didn't know if he could handle his son with another male. With that thought, he shuddered.

Thonas was now a fully grown adult and had a smug look on his face. he knew he was strong and no weakling having about mastered all his fathers teachings that he was put through. even though he had some weak siblings in his eyes it only pushed him to be stronger than them and more worthy to be their fathers child. little did he know his father was about in a foul mood. no matter he was happly sturting along, enjoyng the day as an adult, thinkign of what kind of trouble he could cause that would make his father proud.

Thona quickly spotted something white in the corner of his eye. Quickly turning he could see it was one of his children. Fully grown, Thonas. The only one that really took after himself. The only one he could be fully proud of, though he was proud of all of them. But mostly of him. Though, it didn't improve his mood at all. In fact, Thona had a thought of even attacking him. It would teach him some skill and he'd be ready for anything.
With that though, Thona quickly turned towards the direction his son was. At first he was slowly creeping up on him. Making little to no sound as he went. Closer and Closer he got. The tree's made it easy for him to hide. To sneak around each trunk without being noticed. Though, he didn't expect his son to see him too much, since he was a skilled hunter, and his son wasn't much of one yet.
He waited a moment before moving again. Just giving a little time to see if his son had even noticed any movement at all. Perhaps, he would have to teach him out to see with his ears. Or perhaps he had a natural hearing?

Thonas was not as skilled as his father yet so as he struted along he had no clue he was being followed by his father. as he stopped for a moment to glance about, he been told never to let anyone sneek up on him, and so far none of his siblings could ever do that but they wherent skilled liek their father. thinking he saw some tiny movement he dismissed it as some raddit. smirkign arrogantly, he figured no one could ever sneak up on him and went back to struting along. oh was he in for a big surpise and goign to have his arrogance knocked down a few knots.

Figured, Thona thought as he watched his son walk arrogantly by him. He wanted to snort, but that wouldn't be good for the element of surprise. He waited in silence for a few more seconds before he stood up. Now behind his son rather off to the front a little, it would make it more easier to jump at him.
He crouched down ready to pounce. His claws out and ready for meeting flesh again. He leaped out of his hiding place. Growling and snarling going straight for the others neck.

Thonas froze when he heared the growlign and snarling. oh how many times had he heard his fathers growlign and snarling but before he could react properly his father had a hold of his neck and had him pinned to the groud. hissing loudly, he growled fightign to get his father off him. figures his father would do something like this to him just to test his strength most likey.

Thona though his son would be a little more quick on his feet, though he didn't really expect it so, he let it slide this time. As quickly as it happened he let go and swung with all claws out at him. He didn't look back at his son at first walking a few feet before swinging around. "Arrogant." He said with a bitter voice. He would have to beat some sense into Thonas, it seemed. Though, he normally caught on a lot, a LOT better then his siblings. Just a few hard hits to the head would get him straight.

once his father got off him he was quick to get on his feet again. growl at himself, having his father call him arrogant wasnt what he wanted. yes he was definatly quick to learn from his father always having been eger to learn from him even though he got arrogant alot of the times. always a good few hits on his head got it threw his arrogant head. ".....nice to see you too." it was a smart a** responce and he might just pay for it depending on his father's mood.

He snarled back. "Watch your tongue." He said simply showing is teeth. Of course, his foul mood was getting the better of him. Though, he really didn't care much. Though, he knew not to hurt his offspring too much. He flicked the end of his tail irritatedly. "If you paid more attention, you wouldn't have had any problem hearing me sneak up on you!' He spat.
"If I was someone else, I wouldn't have gotten off, and would have broken your neck without you even noticing." He said shaking his head. He felt like he went over this conversation before. Or was it with a different one of his children? He couldn't keep track some times.

Thonas flicked his ears back and took his fathers verbal lashing witha frown apon his face. his fathers verbal lashings always did knock his arrogance down a few knots but also made him feel he failed his father. once his verbal lashing was done, he spoke with out even starign his father in the eyes. " Yes Father." oh it wasnt hard to tell on top of his father being mad with his arrogance that he was mad over more than just that just by how angry he was. when it came to thonas listenign to his father,, he usualy never had to go over something twice with him unless his arrogance got the better.

Thona sorted at him. Of course he worried about his child getting attacked from behind, but he didn't want to show that too much. He continued to flick his tail and glare at Thonas. "Well, try to keep your ears opened next time." He said a little less harshly. He couldn't be too hard on him, Thonas tried so hard to be like him.
"You've just got to stop walking around like you own the place." He paused. "You've got to learn to listen to the woods." Another pause." Once you get that down, then you can walk around as if you own the place, as long as you listen to the woods as you do so."
"You don't want someone thinking they are stronger then you sneak up behind you and take you by surprise." He ended his little lecture. And stood there for a moment letting him get the words in before thinking about attacking him again.

Thonas' ears perked as he listened to his fathers lecture and saw how his father was quiet wise in what he told him. once his father was done, he smirked a bit, knowign now a fault he could easly correct thanks to his father yet again teaching him a lesson that he had been foolish to let his arrogance get the best of him just because he felt like he could take anyoen on because Thona was his father who is a great hunter. " alright." staring at his father, he never let a verbal lashign or leacture get him down since he learned earlyer on his father only wanted to teach him. now alert, he never took his eyes off his father, wonderign if he might try and teach him something else since Thonas still could learn plenty from him.

He shook his body for a second, just to make it seem like he wasn't going to do anything. Of course, he was sure his son was now more alert to what might be coming, but that also made it a little better. Maybe get a little fight out of his son now that he's bigger.
Thona quickly leaped towards Thonas, Calws extended, and teeth bared. Hoping that this time that he wouldn't sink any of them into his flesh. It was always a little chancy when attacking another and not wanting to hurt them.

Thonas watched his father shake but kept his muscles tensed and ready for if his father tryed to surpise attack him. smirking he had time to react this time to his fathers attack since he was way more alert than last time and also learned from his mistake earlyer after the harsh leacture. jumping away out of his fathers reach his jsut barely made it out of his fathers reach. once he did manage to get out of the way he lanched his own attack. he hadn't got into fights with his brothers for nothing and now that he was an adult he could learn to fight even better from his father sicne he was bigger it would be harder to hurt him then when he was a kit.

Thona moved, but didn't move quick enough. This was what he wanted. He liked attacking others as the lower hand, and become the upper hand. It made them think they were going to win, and then just rip it away from them. Ego was the biggest thing with most males, it was fun to rip it apart.
