Journals are a great place to keep track of your pets and their personalities. They're also required to collect RP Tokens! If you would like a Journal, please post in this thread, so the Mule can make one.
Tracking your RP
Only RP after August 16, 2007 Counts toward RP tokens
For those collecting RP tokens, you need to designate a spot in your journal to record the RP. This doesn't have to be on the front page if you want to keep things organized. A good way to do it would be if you RP in the main thread, to quote each RP post in a post in your journal. If you RP in a guild thread, you could either do the same thing, or provide the link to the RP.
You are, however, responsible for tallying the RP yourself. This tally should be kept on the front page of your journal somewhere. You get one token for every 10 sentences of RP. This only works for storyline RP. If the RP itself looks like the following:
Jamie: Oh my gosh really?!
Julie: I know!
It doesn't count as RP. RP should look more like the following:
Gene had never been more nervous in her life. The fragile egg she'd been handed was the biggest responsibility she'd ever had, and the concept frightened her. Turning to the adoption caretaker, she stammered a thank you and walked out the front door.
" What am i going to do with you?" She muttered under her breath, holding the egg up at eye level and gazing at the strange colours the egg had.
Journal Entries
Eatch navigation entry for your Journal awards you 1/2 RP token. This means if you make a post with your pets personality, or the post that has your recorded tokens, it counts for .5 each.
RP entries are different. Each RP entry will be reviewed by a staff member and awarded tokens. This will be done once a week. RP posts in your journal do NOT COUNT toward your normal RP. So do not tally the sentances in your journal toward tokens. They're completely separate and tallied by staff.
note: For recorded RP posts, these do not count toward your navigation points. They don't count for any points.
