General Rules
● Be nice; we want a happy cheerful thread and if anyone is being a bully they get to face the rage of Flame. (If you inspire Flame's anger I really don't pity you.)
● Read all these rules, that way we wont hear "But I didn't know!" We won’t expect that more than once, twice or never.
● No stealy the arty! The artists work hard on the art and we wont allow others to take their work!
● Respect the power of the mods! We do have the right to ban you from our thread, take away your pet, and even refuse to sell to you. We are not mean but we did put a lot of effort into this thread and expect to get respect for it.
● No more then 3/4 quotes per post. Now we understand that if the thread gets busy you want to make sure people know who you're talking to, but it's easy to keep the quote numbers down. Use common sense and don't have most of your post be quote.
● RP, RP, RP,RP! This is bolded and underlined for a reason. YOU MUST DO IT. RP intensive means just that! RP intensive. If you don't think you can handle it then don't apply for one.
● On that note, we understand life can take away your time All we ask is that you inform us when taking hiatus, or just can't post for a while but if you are hiatus, and we find you're being active somewhere else we can use that to take your pet away. Unless you have a REALLY good reason.
● Do not PM asking for sales/growth info. All sale info will be in availability post and till then it's not official.
● All complaints, personal questions and comments should be PMed to Dr. Ronchas. We do not want you to just complain on the thread, if you have a complaint politely complain in a PM to Ronchas. Also if you had a personal question/comment that you don't want most people to see also PM Ronchas. Everything else should just be posted on the thread.
● Gaia TOS applies here too. If you get this thread deleted you will have very angry mods on you like a plague of locusts!
● Be nice to newcomers. We want fresh blood hanging around...no really we do.
● No asking for free twins! We will not give you a free appointment. That's it, no.
● No stretching the page. We all hate when the page gets stretched, no we wont kick you out if you do so but if you post an image that stretches the page and refuse to remove it we will get mad.
● Rules are subject to change. We reserve the right to edit, add to and/or remove from this list at any time. Please check it every now and then for changes.
Flatsale Rules
● Flatsales will be priced 30k, unless stated otherwise. It's priced because the after FS goes for 15k and in these you get twins no matter what, so twice the work for artists equals twice the pay from you.
● Payment Plans are accepted, and do not be afraid to ask for one. I will ask for 5k up front and then will want 2-5k a week till your debt is paid. If you do not pay once a week your twins can be taken away or rehomed.
● You must have entry in before deadline. Once a FS is started you will have a set time to get your entry in. You can only be late if you have a REALLY good reason and we're feeling generous. Don't count on it.
● No editing once entry is entered. You don't need much more than this do you?
● Only one entry per person. No you can't try for more than one slot, and no proxying (using mules to apply twice).
● Your work only! Claiming other’s work is illegal, and will not be appreciated. Editors however are legal, accepted and even encouraged.
● No discouraging others to join. We will not appreciate this, and you may be disqualified and gray listed if we catch you doing this.
● Entries can be in ether first or third person. We do not care which you use but use one or the other.
● Don't be a sore loser/winner. We all know it sucks to lose a FS, but you don't think to complain about it. This will not be appreciated and will not make us want to give you one later. Also if you win and we see you rubbing it in the face of the losers you will get in trouble. Be nice people!
● Send all payments to Dr. Ronchas, If sent to the staff we will accept it as a donation. You have been warned.
● Do not rush our decisions. We understand you can be antsy but you must wait.
● No refunds will be given. Ever, unless there has been a mistake due to us, though I'm not sure how.>>
RP Rules
● No Godmoding. Big fat duh here! Magic has limits just like everything else, don't pretend there is none!
●Formal (aka literate) RP only. 3rd, or first person here. No *, with "" and everything. Story format.
●OOC must be kept separate from IC. If a RP is going on, make sure people can tell when you're all OOC and when you're not.
● What happens in RP is fiction and not real. Please do not take offense just because someone in RP says something bad about your character. They don't mean it about you.
● RP Regularly. This is an RP intensive pet and we will want regular journal posts, and RPs and yes you will be expected to keep up on both.
● Non-Double Trouble pets welcomed. You got pets from other parts of Gaia? Feel free to RP them here, so long you don't neglect your twins.
● You're free to RP without twins. This is placed in the world of Gaia, your prospective owner is allowed to visit the office before receiving an actual appointment, or just RP with other owners.
Thread Labels
[ORP] - For open roleplay allowing anyone to join in.
[PRP] - Private roleplay that is restricted to those with permission from the creator of the thread.
[OOC] - The chatter threads for out of character thoughts and posts. Babble on about life and such.
[QUE] - To pose a question to any of the staff for immediate attention.
[PLT] - Used by the Staff for plot/metaplot threads.
[EVE] - Used by the Staff for event threads.
[FIN] - Threads that are fnished with in RP or OOC chatter or questions answered... etc.
Example Subject line of a thread:
[ORP] Study Session for Exams!
[QUE] What is the exact layout of the HQs?
The content of the FIRST post should state the general plot (if there is one) and those allowed to post in the thread if it is a PRP or the number of slots open to random participants in ORPs. If it is an OOC or QUE thread, please state the point of thread clearly in the FIRST post.
After you have accomplished the purpose of a thread, have the creator of the thread change the subject label to FIN so that people know to not post there anymore.
