Maybe it's just the area where I live but I don't have one single true game lovin' friend who is a girl. I have some close guy friends who will play with me any time. And I do have one friend who enjoys a round of Super Smash Bros when I ask, but I don't have any friends who are girls that will come running to tell me how they enjoyed XenoSaga III or did I get Pearl Yet? (which I have smile Does anyone else have this problem? I feel lonely because I feel like i'm by myself, gender wise, when it comes to gaming in my community.

yes it is hard to find a cool chick friend who likes to play video games. i had a few but most of the girls i see that are into video games just like them because their boyfriend does or to get closer to a guy they like. (which is STUPID)
but for the few girl gamers that i knew it was kind of hard to keep the friendly relationship because gaming was the ONLY thing we had in common.

Unfortunatly, man is a creature of habit and of unmovable expectations. Girls aren't "supposed" to like boy stuff, so some just grow up not wanting to do any "boy" stuff. Parents often do this without meaning to by buying pink ponies and Barbies for thier little girl, regardless of her likes. It's the same for boys too, though a little harder to see (boys can't cry in public or appear too sensitive or concerned about their looks [they'll be called gay]).
So in short...yes. It can be hard. Sometimes it's just a matter of being in the right time at the right place. If that never happens, there's nothing wrong with having friends that are boys I suppose.

Yes, not one of my girl friends are hardcore gaming chicks. Actually, I don't really know ANY in my community. The girls in my town are really snobby and sluttish and what-not. Well, a lot of them are, anyways.
I dunno. Sometimes I wish that I had my best girl friends to talk about gaming with. Or just to kick back and have a big gaming extravaganza with them in general.
But, y'know, it's okay, really. My VERY best friend, Jayden, loves video games. I mean, he's a guy, but he's not one of those stupid ones who are all, "Omg, girls can't play video games!" He accepts the fact that I can kick his a**.

Most of my friends are girls, but none are gamers. There are only a few gamer GUYS in my school, let alone girls. The perfect girlfriend for me would be a girl who lives within walking distance, is a hardcore gamer, and is extremely hot.

*Snickers* Want to meet my older sister? xd She gets more looks then I do. I just hope you can keep her. She going to go to college in about 2 years, her best choice right now is in Haiwii. eek Best art school in the U.S. right now. Even a perfessional artist said that she was excellent for an artist with no formal training. Take a look see at my signature, she did it. (Sorry for the novel!)

I have some girl-gamer friends, but I don't see them too often...
I'd love a boyfriend that's a gamer--and an XBox. 360 or original. The only reason I haven't bought one is because there's only a limited amount of games I'd want to play on the XBox...I wanna play Halo...
And...no offense to them, but only my guy friends put up a real challenge in Super Smash Bros. whee

Sometimes it just sucks to be a girl (not that i'd change to a guy if I had the choice lol) but my boyfriend goes to his friend's house all the time and they have super smash tournaments and can sit there all day playing game after game...I wish I had that. It'd be nice, but until I meet another serious gamer chik i'll just keep doing what I do best...Kicking butt! (you know...unless I don't o.0) lol

Well most of my friends are guys, simply because I get along with guys better than I do girls. I do have two female friends that are complete gamers.

Actually most of all of my friends are gamers, and girls. but I dont really live in a small community. Alot of girls here could care less about videogames, but there is also alot of girls that do play.
I dont really play videogames with guys, I think its because I suck. I dont want to get beaten by a guy and then have him say that all girls suck at videogames.

It is hard, I really don't have any hardcore gamer friends, mostly because my school piles up sp much work I only use my ds during to and from school, and the rest working. But when I get the break, I mostly play by myself or with my dad, since I'm an only child and live in a small street where there aren't many kids, it's kinda lonely, plus when you add the snobs from school... morons...

Most of the kids at my school don't play video games. I only know of two guys in the whole school that aren't complete numbskulls that like video games (both named Julian, ironically). I talk to them 'bout video games and play with them cuz we all like the same crap. I generally play games with my big sis who's pretty decent.
