Rp Tokens
Alrighty, you're here for the down low on what RP tokens are. I hope i can explain it properly.
RP tokens are earned various ways, but with an end result of free stuff to you for RPing. The free things can vary from lineart edits, to elder stages, to free pets, ect. You collect these points, tallying them in your journal. (for tips on tallying, please see the READme in the journal forum) When you want to cash them in, you will post in this forum for what you want, filling out the appropriate form, ect. Its at this point a staff will go to your journal and see if your points are accurate, and then complete your order as soon as they can.
What is RP: what counts?
Very good question. And since RP styles vary, this is where it gets tricky. Proper spelling/grammar are not necessarily a must, but you have to atleast have tried. 1337 speak, or internet lingo is not allowed. RP containing it won't count either.
Now, earning tokens, you have to write complete sentences in a storyline type format. The following RP exerpt is a great example of that:
Genevive was relieved to step outside into the crisp autumn air. Behind her was a nursery full of furry, crying, warm little buttercat kittens all begging for attention. While she loved her job, she was glad to get this little break before going to lunch. Lately it seemed she couldn't find a quiet corner of the island to just sit and calm down.
That is what we call "storyline format" here. It's as if you were reading a book, and not a script. Script format is something like the following.
Jamie: Oh my gosh, i know huh! *jumping up and down happy*
Oscer: Well it's nothing that great, but it is kinda cool
Script format is in my opinion lacking in style, and shouldn't be concidered RP. Now, i'm not saying your'e not allowed to do this, by all means, you can RP like this in the thread for quick Rp if you like, but script RP's will not count toward RP tokens.
How many tokens do i get for things?
For every ten sentences of RP, you'll get 1 token. Lets go back to our previous RP to see what we'd get out of it.

Now, that's 4 well formed sentences. So you'd log it as .4 RP tokens. When you get to dialogue, that can be tricker figuring out what's a sentence and what's not. I'll trust everyone's judgement to make a fair call on that. And if you're just not sure, you can contact the mule and it will get sorted out that way.
Now, that's not the only way to earn points however. Keeping and tending a journal gets you points, as well as participating in organized RP. (where the mule write's a prompt or makes an RP thread for people to go to)
More ways to earn points will be added in the future, but for now, those are it.
What can i use my points on?
Right now, points have not been configured for things. Alinedra is getting to it, but is planning on releasing it as soon as the elder stages are released. So check back when that happens! Till then, you can still document your points for future use.
