Azreal moved towards the blade, almost fearing to touch it. A magirath... a weapon of true power. So this is what Nicholas had been working on all this time- a weapon for Azreal! And what a weapon it was. The Lonarian saw straight through its appearance, and needed no hunter's sight to do it.
Reaching out tentatively, he gripped the handle. This left no doubt in his mind; this was a magirath, alright. He could feel the infused energies running through the sword like life-giving blood, even giving it somewhat of a pulse. It was so much more than a sword.
Azreal looked up at Nicholas, his own enhanced eyes meeting with the glass orbs of the guild-leader. For what seemed like a long time, he said nothing; what could have been said? Thanking him was pointless. Finally, after picking and choosing his next sentence with the utmost care, he spoke
"I will fight for your planet. I do not wish to see two worlds fall into darkness in my lifetime. Let us draw swords together, human and Lonarian."

((Azreal))
Nicholas, frantically stocking ammo and scraping lint off his robe, was clearly in a rush. Breathing heavily as he hopped from task to task, the five minutes allotted seemed more like 30 seconds to the guild leader, who treated the time like precious silver. Once in his mad dash, he shouted to the gaping Lonarian,
"The Magirath weapon acts as a TWO-HANDED SWORD, Azreal. Swing well and you'll be rewarded. I can't tell you the buffs right now...but you'll be seeing some crazy effects. Also, add a Magirath column to your profile. Under that, list the skill "Chain Shot", with a 100 HP (not MP) cost. To use the skill, aim the blade at your target and push the bottom of the handl-oh, ********! Time's UP!
MEN, ASSEMBLE!"
The guild scrambled to the center of the sanctum, expecting a great speech from their great leader...
"Don't die."
Well. That said it.
With a swirl of sand and blazing light, the group was instantly transported to the front gate of Amandilla. Just as Azreal had once left it, the many citizens were a horrid shade of greenish yellow, their exposed flesh blistered and bleeding, glistening in the sunlight. As their yellowed incisors snapped at air, spraying blood and bile with each motion, something....different could be seen lurking in the back. Without even craning his neck, the stone-faced general knew what was up.
"Alright. Azreal, you have two choices. You may either come with me and fight their controller...or stay back and command our forces in battle."
The men all waited for your response, literally staring death in the face as they held their ground.
[Make your choice; there are two completely different styles of battle at hand.]

Azreal held the chainblade tightly, rolling the magirath in his hands as all eyes fell upon him, expecting him to make a choice. In just the few short days since joining, the Lonarian had risen to a position of trust and power that even he had not realized in this moment.
He gritted his teeth. As much as he did not want to leave Nick at the mercy of the beastly controller, he could not let the Dark Hunters die just crashing against the enemy ranks.
"Go, Nicholas. I'll watch over these guys. If things get bad, though, I'm coming in for you."
Azreal rubbed his palms together for luck and slammed them both into the ground, hoping to create a wall of earth that the hunters could use as a garrison.
"Stand back!"

Azreal REALIZES Golem...
And is not ready to form summons yet.
Nick brandished his new toy and leapt into the fray without a word.
BATTLE FOR AMANDILLA - SUPPORT
Okay. It's time to help Nick out. As strategist and general of the remaining 8 soldiers, you must keep the 500+ zombie mass from overcoming your leader before he takes out the captain of opposing forces.
Here's how you can help.
Hunters all have 20 HP. So to speak. Any D20 rolled will take off of that 20 HP. Zombies have 1 HP. For every number in a D100 roll, a zombie dies. Nick has 30 HP. Every D6 roll is the leader attacking him. Nick will not move close enough to fight unless some zombies are being distracted. Necromancer (leader) has 40 HP. Every time a D10 is rolled, Nick is attacking him. Kill him and this is over.
Kill all your zombies or kill the necromancer.
Every "turn", a few things will happen. First, you can COMMAND your troops. Here are the commands and the layout for attack.
ATTACK (#) - A desired number of hunters will strike out into the enemy mass, and a # D20s will be rolled while a D100 is rolled. GUARD (#) - A desired number of hunters will hold their ground, restoring a little bit of HP as they do so. DISTRACT (#) - 1.2x the number of D20s will be rolled, but a D10 and a D6 will be rolled as well.
After the outcome of your command is determined, it's your time to act.
There are THREE "strong" zombies. You may choose to ATTACK them, entering a normal battle like you remember. After all three are dead, zombies will be permanently DISTRACTED and Nick's attack roll will go up to a D12.
You have a save state for this battle...(1 use only)
Any questions?

((What does distract do? Do I command and then attack, or do it in the same post? And can I attack the strongbies right off the bat?))

[I'm changing the DMG on distract. Basically, distract will do 1-25 damage to your guys, but let Nick attack the Necromancer controlling the zombies. It's a really risky move.
Its a COMMAND first, then results (I roll the dice), then your chance to attack or stay.
And yes, attack away. I didn't say they were pushovers.]

Azreal surveyed the situation and decided that a head on charge would be the best course of action for now. Let them strike hard, fast, and first!
Raising his chainblade above his head, Azreal leapt into the crowd of zombies. There was no rallying call or speech... but then again, that probably suited the Dark Hunters better, quite guys that they were.
"Good luck, humans! ATTACK!"

[One thing. I guess I didn't describe it appropriately...
You may allot numbers of allies to attack. For instance, all this may happen at once....
ATTACK (3) GUARD (4) DISTRACT (1)
Sorry for the confusion.]
