Physical Description: A stunning specimen in both color and build, Amaterasu is the epitome of elegance. Possessing no recognizeable defects, she is a griffin of impeccable tone and proportion. Her cream colored coat is rarely (if ever) marred with dirt, as she makes a habit of immaculate preening, providing a stark background for the scrawling (almost calligraphic) stripes along her head, beak, torso and flanks. By contrast, her tail plume, talons, beak tip and primary/outer feathers are a shining inky black, as though freshly stained.
Personality: By griffin and human standards alike, Amaterasu is a pleasent, docile and easy going spirit. Slow to anger and quick to forgive, she seems to have a penchant for getting along (or at the very least, coexisting) with even the most troublesome of creatures. She is, however, extremely maternal, constantly preening and fawning over her child like any good mother would... even if that child happens to be a featherless, two legged, scraggly human girl.
