Is nightmare a sin? I am just wondering. since this is a dumb question..... Since I always get them and I pray about it to stop it. It does work sometimes, but nightmare come back every now and then....

I don''t think that a nightmare is a sin. Your dreams and nightmares are just something your mind comes up with when you are resting. I have had many weird dreams...that would be a sin if I did it in real life. I once had a dream that I killed my bestfriend for no reason what-so-ever...weird I know.

Hmm...that is a great question. But I agree with the person above meh. Also, if you think that answer isn't enough. You can pray to God about it. I am sure that He will let you know somehow.

No, i don't think that a nightmare is a sin, becuase you can't control that. Nightmares are just something from your sub-conscience. I don't really understand why we get them, but their defiently not a sin. Keep praying and having Faith, they'll go away!

yeah it may seem to you that it feels like a sin but its only your mind making a picture in your sleep of something you are afraid of. I've asked my mother before cause I've had the ocassional nightmare and just really odd dreams but I pray before I go to bed and usually I don't end up with one. But maybe god is trying to tell you something from your dreams but it needs a bit more interpretation to really understand what its all about.
