this annoyed me so i thought i would post.
I was doing my RSE quest and trying to get the key for Ordelles cave on my week.
After 5 HOURS of trying to get this key
we spend like a hour lookin for the chest and this F**KIN taru comes n opens it wen i get agro!
so we find a 2nd one and i open it but becoz of a lag issue
its one minute into firesday so its the next races week n no magical pattern for me!
this happened to any1 else b4? crying

We got keys like crazy. I was able to open a chest for 1,800 gil and then get ANOTHER key.
And then I saw a Mithra running around looking for the chests, and so when someone from the party said {Treasure Chest} {Found it!}, I told them to leave it alone so a Mithra looking for her RSE could get it. I proceeded to send her a tell, and she was very happy about it and got her pattern.
It made me feel really good inside n.n

when I'm in zones like that where RSE is held, I leave chests alone. I was farming elementals in maze of shakrami one night and a japanese mithra was running around trying to find a chest. I had done a /sea of the zone and checked her comment so I knew what she was there for. Anyway, I sent her a /tell letting her know where it was and all that jazz, I did have a key too, but all you get from the maze treasure chests are heat rods lol, total junk.
Anyway, would be nice if others were so considerate, I had a hell of a time with getting chests in ordelle's caves between the gilsellers and stroper chyme campers *eye roll*
