Here are a few books I feel should be read by the entire modist congregation.
Feel free to add your own and discuss/ridicule titles.
--Reaper Man, Thief of Time, and Going Postal By Terry Pratchett My favorite parts of my favorite series.
--Nuklear Power, By Brian Clevenger My favorite single book ever. See if you can find the joke.
--Boy's Life, by Robert McCammon The first real novel I ever read. Good, good stuff.
--Crisscross, by F. Paul Wilson Part of a great series, and details the most hardcore revenge plan EVER.
--The Zombie Survival Guide, by Max Brooks You can never be too prepared for an assault by the livinvg dead.
More to be added later.

BEST TOPIC EVER.
Kevin's trying to get me to read Going postal. Is it really fabu?
The Handmaids Tale, by Margaret Atwood. Best alternate universe book of the future ever. So socially disturbing, though maybe not as much as 1984 or Brave New World. I need to read those still.
Life of Pi by Yann Martel This is where I get a lot of my feelings on religion from.
The Shining by Stephen King The first King book I've ever read. O:

Tagra Nar Neverwhere, American Gods, and Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. The Oracle by William J. Broad Will forgets Thud by Pratchett, methinks. Thud! is good, but Reaper Man and Thief of Time are better. And yes Kyraa, Going Postal is pretty much the best thing ever. At lest until october, since that's when Making Money hits.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics, which may not count as novels but Iduncare.
The Blue Sky by Galsan Tschinag. Story about a Mongolian shepard boy who becomes the shaman of his people. Went to see him speak, and he was lovely! The story is both the fact and fantasy of his own life.
Black Sun Rising, When True Night Falls, and Crown of Shadows by C.S. Friedman. It's a science fantasy trilogy without the retarded that many fantasy stories have been infected with. Read it. xd
The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. Do I need to say why? domokun heart

Gotta go with the movie here, sparky. And yes, Dune is 50^10 kinds of awesome.

If you haven;t met the comedy team of Flint and Freer, you must give it a whirl.
Both "Pyramid Scheme" and "Rats Bats and Vats" are free from BAEN.
(Hi guys, long time)
