Death's Shadow

Dark, mysterious, cold
Death lurks around the bend
Satan attacks two fold
No one to defend

Breathless in the night
Flight of fear overpowers
Stumble and fall without a sight
Crouches behind the ally, cowers

Tall, looming shadow
Sword raised high
Pierces like the arrow
The mercy always shih

Swift as the breeze
A life wisped away
A soul now seized
Sadness makes way
