I'm sure you've heard of this anime or seen an epi of it at one point. It used to be on Toonami way back when it wasn't on saturdays and was on weekdays, monday-thuresday at 5:30. (Sad how I still remember that ><) It also went into the Saturday line-up for awhile until Zatch Bell came along...(I'm still a little annoyed about that...)
Anyway, for those of you who don't recognize the name, Here is the story for it:
Yusuke Urameshi who is a tough teen delinquent until one selfless act changed his life... by ending it. When he died saving a little kid from a speeding car, the afterlife didn't know what to do with him(since the act wasn't called for and the boy would've lived anyway), so they gave him a second chance at life. He ends up coming back to life and becoming a spirit detective, appointed by Koenma himself. Basically his assignments have to do with catching spirit world criminals and getting back artifacts and things. He is joined by his rival, and later in the story his friend, Kuwabara and two demons, Hiei and Kurama who used to be criminals and were caught by Yusuke.
That is basically the storyline for Yu Yu Hakusho, one of my favorite animes ever. It's actually the first anime series I got into so I've always been fond of it.... Now I wanna watch it XD

I miss it too. Zatch Bell just had to come along and get rid of it crying Oh well. there's always the dvds... though I've only got the first box set and 3 other dvds from different parts of the series... ><

It still is a great show X3 I've started watching my YYH dvds again and it's still as awsome as when I first started watching it ^^

I miss the good old days when Toonami was on during weekdays and things... They were going to show the end of the Chapter Black saga and then Zatch Bell decided to get rid of Yu Yu Hakusho crying I think I nearly cried when Yu Yu Hakusho got taken off tv. One day Toonami'll do a Yu Yu Hakusho marathon when they realize their mistake >< I shall write a letter! I don't know to who, but I will write one!!
But if that never happens, atleast there's the manga and getting the dvds and things... that way I can watch it whenever i want ^_^

True, very true. You can always try to find Toonami's location through one of their webvsites, and then look it up in Yellowbook pages mapsite, and find the address of their headquarters. Then you can write a letter to that address. 3nodding

Yes yes. Toonami probably gets a bunch of letters from peole all over the place so I doubt they'll ever get to mine, but oh well, I'll never know until I try XD
