I know the anime may have ended, but the manga goes on! I just finished reading the latest chapter that came out(Chapter 516). Has anyone else been reading it? I need to vent my emotions out about what has happened. ><

P.S. If this topic discussion continues, there may be some possible spoilers to those people who have not been keeping up with the manga. Just a warning.

The manga is now drawing to an end, which makes me wonder: since it's almost established that no new seasons or episodes are to be released after episode 167, will Sunrise ever produce an OVA afterTakahashi finishes the manga? It would be nice if they did. ^.^

I have heard rumors that the producers will be starting the anime up once again after the manga is finally completed. Hopefully those rumors end up coming true.

I hope they come out with more episodes after the manga is done, or at least something.
Mostly I just want to see Sesshie-sama getting Bakusaiga and his left arm back on my TV screen whee Best. Moment. Ever.

There will be no more new episodes; these are the key reasons as to why Sunrise decided to stop producing more episodes:
1. The popularity of the animated version of Inuyasha had taken a huge nose-dive; hence making more new episodes would not be very economic.
2. Sunrise was sick and tired of making crappy filler episodes.
3. Conflicting schedules from the Seiyuu (i.e. Kappei had to do the voice for L from Death Note).
There is a chance of an OVA (albeit very low, but that's better than nothing at all) and I'm not exactly throwing my hope on that. It would be a lovely surprise, though. I mean, who doesn't want to see Kagura/Kikyou's death scene animated? They were done so well and I could picture them lucidly in my mind. And with the great voice acting from the seiyuu, I'm sure it would be worth the watch too.
Sesshoumaru's arm topic: > I wasn't particularly impressed with Sesshoumaru regaining his arm. I guess I was expecting it the moment we were introduced to the Meidou Zangetsuha arc and I found him more admirable when he never let having one arm hinder his fighting in any way. In fact, I sort of forgot he had one arm to begin with. Though I don't resent Takahashi yoinking Bakusaiga from his left stump, I'm still in the process of digesting this fact. <

I completely agree with all of you! Sesshoumaru's arm/sword was a huge shock for me, as I too had gotten used to him only having one arm. XD But I'm happy that he got his left arm back, even if he could still kick butt without it. =P I really hope they do an OVA, but I'm not sure if there willing to do it. We should all pray for the slight chance that they will make an OVA. Is anyone else a little sad that the end is near? On one side, I'm eager to know the ending, but on the other it's going to be a little sad. InuYasha was one of my first anime's that I really got into, and I've stuck with it for so many years so it's a little sad to see it end. crying Oh well, as I learned from Fruits Basket, all things must end. ^^

In the third movie, I very much enjoyed how he said "no thanks" or something when the evil guy teasingly asked if Sesshoumaru wanted his arm back heart heart
