Why do you think more than 3/4 of Gaia has to have a username with some character from anime or games in it?
people tend to use names they like and in this case most anime character names are what people are interested in

i know mine is not

What do you think makes a username original?
well thats kinda hard cause at one point in time someone might have thought of that name but didn''t use it....its hard to have an original name now and days. even real life names. alot of people are unoriginal ((and i''m no exception)) cuase people tend to go what they like.

now my name i thought up when i was making my avatar. i noticed it looked alittle like james from pokemon so i decided to use the original japan name for him and though mine is a variation of this name i know its not original cause it was already thought up. in fact some has a name somewhat like mine((not kuja for that his is nothing like mine)) and thats why my name is a variant to the original and for my other avatars its the same mushashi is a varaint name to the original and it was also taken from pokemon ((jesse)) and of course nyasu is the only non variant in the bunch but still isn''t original cause it was also again taken from pokemon ((meowth))

but all in all i don''t feel names can be original anymore cuase there will someone somewhere with the same name and you would never know it in fact you could never know it unless you do a butt load of research and gather all the names in the world....but this is all opinion so don''t flame me for it thanks and good day heart

((*edit* besides does it matter if your name is original or not. i mean some names do get out of hand like all the inuyashas or kagomes. then its like my god think of something else. i just hope i have never been judge cause of my name. sorry had to add that))

"Anaithnid" is Irish Gaelic for "strange". Yeah, I'd say mine is pretty original.

While it may not matter to you, it matters to others on Gaia. Original names are better than anime names, since they are overused. But I`m just saying.. if people wouldn`t rely on anime so much, maybe there would be more original names on Gaia. >>;;

They believe that if they can become or be similar to the character they copy, they will be "cooler". I myself have made a Miroku Higurashi account for purpose of role play in Inuyasha, not as just because i can be him all the time, it is for that particular role play only.

Do you think your name is original?
It is. As i have seen, no other have taken the name Drak, as i do not know it from any series or anime. The addition of paradise is from backround information from last few years of my life.

Thought up on the spot with consideration of your life and those you effect, nothing having to do with animation or television or books.

I'm sorry... I just love Heero, he is the love of my life... ok not really what he is a reminder of why I got into yaoi and such. Besides my msn hotmail name is pretty unique, some ask me what I was thinking when I tell them my addi, have you ever really heard of a name meowmouth2005? Even now when I look at it I must ask what was going on in my head... eek

well the reason why CN won't show the animes that are on the AN is because AN is strictly ADVfilms and CN would need a licence(s/p) to show those animes but i doubt would get one cause AVDfilms has its own network

but i do agree though alot of people use anime names or something that has to do with the japanese

i didn't say they just got their name from the animes that the CN just shows it was an example
