What music is best for making love to someone? I mean ROMANTIC love, not hardcore @$%#ing. Start a separate thread for that if you want...
Anyway, what music is best? Barry White seems to be a favorite...
((I know the music will differ for the person, but any input is helpful.))

I like Marvin Gaye's sexual healing. Nice pacing to it.

Moby had a song... "The Ultimate" *ahem* "song". Goes a bit too fast for my liking though.
Anywho, who needs music? But if you must, old "classic" rock ballads. Aerosmith had some good ones.

I think louder music can sometimes be best. Something really heavy. Children of Bodom. Kittie. Jack Off Jill.
Sometimes you need it loud to reallllly BE loud =P

Mezalyth ...I did say "romantic", right? Cradle of Filth's slower, more melodic compisitions are not romantic? From the point in which I stand I find that they are, given the air in which they must cohabitate.
Each to their own as it is said.

Songs like Nymphetamine are quite beautiful. Easily "love-making music".
Also, I would like to point out that you should not judge what people feel is "romantic" music.
I know that if I was having sex with a girl, and it was an intimate night.. not just hardcore ********.. then I probably would still have heavy music on. Thats what gets me in a mood.. To me.. that is still love-making music.
So if you want to open a question like this us, you cannot only expect answers that you would give. A diverse group will give diverse answers. keep that in mind.

You got so much love in you Sneaker Pimps is actually really nice.
Also Frou Frou or Imogen Heap. You look like the songs that I've heard my whole life coming true.

I personally enjoy listening to Yuki Kajiura actually. Don't know how romantic that compares. I myself don't really find it romantic to listen to a guy singing at all. But Yuki holds a place in my heart for when the first time I really made love to my g/f that was playing unintentionally but it was beautiful in the background.
