Will you find me a blue rose? What type of nutrients do vegetarians miss out on? I know about protein, B12, Iron, Calcium, and Zinc. Thats it isn't it?
I currently take 'One Source Teens' and it has 133% B12, 23% Calcium, 100% iron, 133% Zinc.
I get all of my complete proteins and calcium from milk.
What do you all take, and what do you recomend?

I take One Source Teens too. Isn't Omega 3 only found in fish? I could be wrong on that one.

I take calcium supplements, as well as a regualr multi-vitamin with iron and B12.
I'm also looking into getting myself a B-complex supplement, because I have been suffering from a ton of severe leg/foot cramps for the past few months. I've been getting enough calcium, so I think that a B5 deficency may be the cause of my pain...

Theme and Variations Isn't Omega 3 only found in fish?
No, Omega 3 fatty acids are found in other things. Actually, flax seed has a higher concentration of Omega 3 than fish does.

On doctor's orders, I have to take Omega-3s via Fish Oil. I feel funny about it... It is almost like I am lying to my identity-my personal self- as a vegetarian, by oking fish oil. She claimed that the other substitute for fish oil wouldn't be absorbed as easily, and may be rejected by my body's chemistry....
I take: Doctor's Orders Vit D 1000mg Fish Oil Iron (Anemic)
On my own: Women's one a day Calcium 1000mg Vit C 500mg
AND, for health reasons, Ensure

The dinosaurs are returning... I asked my doctor about what supplements I should take.
He was all "Uuuu, iron, and uuuu, B12, and uuuu, folate (which may be from green vegetables, but I'm probably completely wrong)" Then I asked "what about iodine, omega-3, and stuff like that?". He had no idea. So he just told me to google it.
I'm getting a new doctor.
...and they want their oil back.

I haven't talked to my doctor about my diet, but I already know that I have a horrible diet. I am a junk food junky vegan. x[ It's just so much easier to buy canned soup and whatnot, so.... I take Bengal Bites and drink Emergen-C twice everyday, though.

i use to take a whole slew of vitamins, but i've decided that eating actual food with the things i need is easier for my body to absorb, cheaper, and it tastes better. :p

I take Iron Melts, just 5mg Iron with some B12 and Vit C to help it all be absorbed. Since my diet is low in iron, and I've always had really low iron levels, I just take one of those every day.

I take Flintstones Vitamins. Extra C. Fruit & veg is scarce in my household. ): Plus, it's the only multivitamin-type-thing I can find that doesn't contain iron.
I can't have iron supplements because of my blood disorder. Although, BECAUSE of my blood disorder, I need a lot of iron. Which is why it's been so hard to get my dad to stop forcing red meat on me.
I need to find a proper multivitamin. I try to ensure that I get most of what I need from proper diet though. 'Try to' being the operative phrase.
