According to Newsarama, Mike Wieringo passed away Sunday from a heart attack at the age of 44. Known for his collaborations with Mark Waid on The Flash (where he helped to co-create one of my favorite comic characters, Impulse) and the Fantastic Four. As well as runs on Spider-Man, both in the 90's and in more recently, as well as Robin and many others.
I always liked his style. It was cartoony but, it had an energy and a flow to it and it contrasted with the 'grittier' styles. He had a clean, distinctive and kinetic look to his pages and his work will be greatly missed.
My sympathies go out to his family, loved ones and fans.
