So, those two Prideland juveniles following her around hadn't gotten tired of it after all. Mwokoti wasn't pleased by having tag-alongs, yet she wasn't commanding them to leave, either. She herself wasn't completely sure why that was.
They were out of harms way for the time being, and the Goddess had left them to get food. The zebra's black and white coat was tainted with red from it's final moments, and she was currently musing over how to drag the thing back to her little annoyances. Rip it apart? Find some way to get it on her back?
She huffed and cranked her head over her shoulder.
Another was coming.

The pale lioness had wandered away from her companion to think out things. Her thoughts traveled to the few nights before, when she had spoken with her god friend K'Anatak.
The statement she had repeated to him several times rang in her mind now.
I will always be lost...."
At the time it had felt so true but no she wasn't so sure. Right now she was still lost, more or less but she no longer felt that she would always be lost...
What had changed?

Mwokoti had known before she saw the mortal. Her sensing the female hadn't been from any natural sense. Rather, it was the sort of 'alarm' that sounded in her head around one who her domain required her to help, or at least speak with.
It was amazing--no, frustrating was a more proper word--how many needed her, but wouldn't let her assist them. She hoped this lioness was't in that category, because she had enough troubles with these little brats she had to watch.
Hopefully, they wouldn't get in (or START, in the girl ones case) any trouble if this took too long.
She didn't hesitate to abandon the carcass. It would be simple to catch another if something happened to it. "Hello," she greeted the mortal, when she was close enough.
Wait for the reaction, than the introduction. Same as always.

The pale green marked lioness was lost deep in thought and had her gaze fixed upon the ground that her paws trotted on. She hadn't noticed the Goddess, not until she was spoken to. Her ears flickered at the sound of another's voice and she looked up blinking violet eyes twice before her gaze settled on the other.
"Hello." She replied in a soft tone of voice. She was unbothered by the appearance of the other, having seen two others similar to her, only this was her first meeting a female goddess.

Things were going well so far. She'd seen a God before? That or she was insane. Mwokoti had played her part in both situations many, many times. The later of the two never stopped being bothersome, though, so she hoped that wasn't the case.
"My name is Mwokoti. I am the Goddess of the Lost." Hopefully, she would take a hint and realize she was spitting out her 'title' for more than just the sake of doing so.

Malika was far from insane, or at least she believed to be, but a part of her still felt insane. After all who would say that they were always lost and always would be and believed it if they were not insane? She instantly shoved those thoughts from her head when the other told her who she was.
The Goddess of the Lost....
"The Goddess of the Lost..." Malika repeated softly as if she were in a daze. "Can someone be lost forever?" She asked in a hushed tone after a minute of thinking.

It was a strange question. She'd been asked it before, but not for a long time. "If they choose to be," she slowly responded. "If I never find them. If they're a God who's domain will not allow me to help them. If they have no where they belong or nowhere to go."
She stared at the sky, seeking out the sun to try and estimate how long before night fell. "But you need to go to the Pridelands, so I wonder why you would ask me a question as that one."

Malika had a rather sad expression upon her features as she listened to the other. She opened her maw to say something but shut it when the Goddess said she needed to go to the pridelands. "How did you know that I was headed towards the pridelands?" She inquired furrowing her brow in confusion.
"I've been lost for a long time.....so long I believed I would always be lost...Will I?" She then asked.

"It's an ability I have." Her assumption that this mortal knew enough to not ask many questions had proven to be almost painfully wrong. "I can see things in those who are lost, who need to be elsewhere, and I can tell where that elsewhere is." Hopefully, that would be enough, because Mwokoti really didn't knowhow to explain it past that. "It comes to me as breathing and blinking do."
Mwokoti turned her head toward the direction of the Pridelands. "I apologize for taking so long. You can find your way now, by following me, if you choose to. I can assist mortals again."

"...." Malika fell silent. She had more questions she wanted to ask the other but she felt that it would be best not to. She had a feeling that she could trust this goddess, she didn't know why but she did. Besides she seemed much nicer than the nasty green god with black wings. Just the thought of him made her shudder.
She blinked and nodded slowly before shaking her head. "That's a very nice thought but....I have someone I'm traveling with right now...." Malika told the other with a light smile. "Is the pridelands really the place for me? Will I find happiness there?"

"That is something I can not tell you." Not that she couldn't tell her, but that she couldn't. Mwokoti didn't have the ability to see into an individuals future. "I believe you think you will find happiness there. You desire to go there, otherwise, I would not have been summoned here, I would not be present."
She stepped back and stretched her wings out. "I will give you time to discuss this with the other individual you travel with. Call me back here when you have your choice."

Malika nodded slowly. She, despite what she had gone through with a previous god which hadn't been so pleasant, trusted the winged female before her. She felt that she was receiving the truth from the other and nothing else. "Thank you." The pale lioness told the other with another nod.
She took a step backward before pausing and frowning. She seemed to be lost deep in thought for a minute. "I think that I'll continue on to the pridelands with my companion....I believe that he knows the way well and can help me achieve the happiness I hope to find. I thank you though. For everything. You've helped me clear my worries away."
