Mars Volta sucks. SOAD's new sing BYOB is complete and utter retarded jibber-jabber.
Why do they always send the poor? Because the poor are the first ones to take advantage of the education and financial assistance supplied by the military. For the last twenty years, kids could join, serve for their few years, and get out with a free education and military perks without having to spend a single day in combat. This generation was just unlucky enough to be sent into war while trying to reap the benefits.

It'll probably be pretty mediocre. The Mars Volta weren't built for large stadiums, they sound best in small clubs packed with devoted fans and frankly the fanbase they've gained with the release of Frances The Mute has little appreciation for the nuances of sound that'll get drowned out anyways by their incesant screaming. As for SOAD, I'm of the belief that they're really all about the hype and little else.
I have little interested in The Mars Volta after the release of their self titled EP. I still like At The Drive-In better, and I don't even like At The Drive-In that much.

Everything else is my own commentary. I'm answering the question SOAD poses in BYOB.

Miss Chester I like both Mars Volta and SOAD though. But I know I wont be able to go. Mars Volta does suck. Old S.O.A.D. was awesome, but their new stuff is crap. Music artists need to stay out of politics..
