The day was warm, but the water was cool and that is just how Morgana liked it. Her body gracefully swam through the water, her head peeked out as well as her wings laying flat against the water, her bottom half making swirling ripples through the water. She then dipped down under the water.

Waking to the sound of birds in the tree beside him, Abel blinked his bi-colored eyes for a moment. At first he couldn't see well and began to panic at the thought of having lost his precious glasses. But then he remembered he had pushed them up higher on his head and gently pulled them down again to see. He looked around for a moment, fanning himself with one paw.
"Rather warm today," he murmured cheerily to himself before hopping from his branch to glide down to the ground beside the calm waters sparkling in the sunlight that filtered down through the trees. He shed only the garment over his shoulders and his glasses, placing them on a rock. He'd long ago gotten used to swimming in his robes. All things considered, it wasn't as hard as most thought it would be.
He carefully slid into the water and submerged his entire self beneath the surface, eyes shut in cooled bliss.

She didn't see the other otter come in, having surfaced to get some air and she dived back down, flapping her wings under the water to gain more speed and her long, graceful tail to help her propel herself.

Abel swirled around under the water once before opening his eyes under the water, looking for a fish or something tasty for his late breakfast. Maybe leaving his glasses up on the shore was a bad idea. He blinked at something crimson waving a ways in front of him. Without thinking, he propelled himself forward and latched onto the object, having no idea that it was the tail of another otter.

Having her tail bit was not part of today's agenda or any other agenda for that matter!! She let out a squeal of pain underwater, alot of bubbles escaping from her mouth and she thrashed her tail about, kicking her hind legs at whoever attacked her, flapping her wings wildly.

Abel immediately let go and tumbled through the water, blinking at the object that was much bigger than and fish. With all the bubbles and such, he still couldn't really tell what it was, so he swam back upwards, breaking the surface and flapping back onto land with a sputter. He grabbed his glasses and whirled around to blink at the disturbed surface of the water, water dripping from robes and fur as he waited to see what the unknown creature would do next.

Morgana surfaced a moment later, giving off whimpers and squeaks as she floated on her back and curled her body up to inspect her tail, licking at it tenderly when she saw bite marks and they hurt!

Abel's eyes widened, albeit rather comically, when he saw the hurt female otter, knowing very well now what it was he had tried to catch.
"Ohmygoodness! I'm so sorry, miss! I-I thought your tail was a fish," he gasped, padding up to the bank and looking terribly sad and forlorn and apologetic for his rather stupid mistake. He hoped he hadn't hurt her too much.

The pain in tail was quickly receding and if she washed it properly, it wouldn't get infected and it would heal in no time! She looked up when she heard someone speaking and she looked to see a male with wings saying he was sorry for biting her. She tilted her head and then smiled gently and she uncurled herself and swam toward him, "It's quite alright really, it can be hard to see under the water sometimes." she said in a reassuring voice.

Abel sat, rocked back a bit, and put his forepaws on top of his head.
"But I should have guessed that it was too big to be a fish and I still hurt you and I really am very sorry," he continued, sounding rather flustered over it all. He ruffled his hair on accident and it flopped in wet tendrils into his face.
"Oh dear," he said and began pushing them once more out of his face.

She swam to the shore and pulled herself up, the water easily sliding off her waterproof fur, "Well, if it makes you feel better, I forgive you." she said. She couldn't help but put a paw up to hide her giggle when he got flustered over his hair getting wet.

Abel blinked at her for a moment before grinning.
"It does, indeed," he said cheerily and managed to get his hair back out of his face. He let his paws fall back to the ground and his smile somehow managed to get a little broader.
"I'm Abel Nightroad, but you may call me just Abel if you'd like."

She put her paw down once her giggles passed and she gave him a friendly smile when he introduced himself, "My name is Morgana, but everyone seems to call me Morgy for short. It is a pleasure to meet you Abel." she said, bowing her head a bit.

Abel tilted his head forward in his own little bow.
"The pleasure is mine, Mor-... May I call you Morgana, or would you prefer Morgy?" he asked, tilting his head to one side slightly. His glasses were all wet now from his hair, but he didn't really want to turn around just yet and retrieve his only remaining dry cloth to wipe them off.

"Whatever you wish, I do not mind really. You are actually the first otter I have run into here." she said as she sat her bottom half down, curling her tail around her paws and fluffing her wings up before settling them on her back.
