Ring was glowing as it worked on his middle finger on his right hand. Usually, that's all he gave people before walking off, and going about his own way.

He's only evil to become an assassin. We can in fact presume he's already met the only non-stat requirement of the class, so when he get another 5000 xp he can start taking levels in it.
As I love to point out, there are many classes that have an alignment requirement, and most you lose all your abilities from and can never again gain levels in if your alignment changes. You just need to be evil to become an assassin. Nothing stops you from changing later.

Any idea which characters you might use for that? >.> I could see Kichuna being the second woman, but you don't even know who she is.
