Griffins: LeolinPersonality: Tempramental, quirky, and a bit of a-- hell, she can be outright vindictive. Having taken on the alias of a boy to race her griffin, some part of her has a tendancy to still act boyish even in a dress. A bit naive in the workings of high society, Laura fully appreciates the hard work others do for their Lords.
Background: Having grown up a peasant outside Xuan City in the more rural area, the country girl had little to do with the hustle and bustle of city life. As a small child, she lived in her family home with her parents, brother, sister and aged grandmother. It was as a young girl that she stumbled across Leolin with an injured leg. Apparently abandoned as a chick, Laura and her grandmother brought Leolin up as a family pet of sorts. It wasn't until her brother died and sibling married off that she took to racing Leolin who her brother had been training in secret with her.
Recent happenings: After an odd chance meeting with a young Lord who'd moved to Xuan, Laura has become a live-in maid for a young Remiel Quillan in exchange for financing her griffin racing. She's come to meet many people through Rem, and was even invited to a party for the nobility of Xuan.
Though not quite an enemy, Laura has a great dislike of one of Rem's 'friends' by the name of Malcolm Lansing. Aside from the fact he had identified her after a race as a woman, after a few comments they hadn't much luck in forming any lasting friendship.
Emily Everette (Formerly Emily Fields)

Occupation: Lady of the CourtPersonality: The most extroverted of the Fields family children, Emily has a habit of chatting with anyone willing to lend an ear. Not all of it is mindless babbling though; despite how it might seem for the sake of looking the part of a noble woman. After all, if there was something important that was happening, most who knew of it and would speak of it were the wives and daughters of the influencial. Her interests seem to be furthering her husband's ambitions.
Background: Oldest daughter of the Fields family, and middle child of the three, Emily had been the one most interested with the big city. When her Father or Mother would go to bring surplus crop to the open market to sell, she was most likely to tag along. Entranced by the flow of the city, she tried to come at every oppertunity.
Recent History: Having only met Nyhali, there's not much to say. More to come later.

Personality: A friendly griffin with a big heart, Leolin is like a big chick. Or perhaps a puppy, given his drive to please his partner, Laura. His greatest joy in life is Kedri, but Racing takes a close second.
