I know why Shinji is in there. Remeber when the dummy plug took over Shinji's EVA, it is possible thatit was a clone of him that he didn't know it was created. Gendou probably told Ritsuko to take Shinji's DNA (since they have check-ups like every month) and clone it so it can be used as a dummy plug for Unit-01. Or..............I'm just very high right now sweatdrop

I don't know whats scarier, the fact that that is in there, or that someone found it...
I still wonder if some things in eva weren't put there for the hell of it to drive us NUTS.

That thread just strengthens my belief that Anno made EoE as a very public "Screw you guys!" to his angry fans when they complained about the series' ending.

That's so messed up and deranged...its delicious. biggrin Err, isn't that series of images from the TV series, though? When Ritsuko kills off all the Rei clones? 24 is Kaworu... so I would guess that it's from episode 23. I'd have to check to be sure.

EoE was the original ending of Eva. but budget sucks when you got a low one.

Rei was part Lilith. Lilith could be anyone as we saw in EoE with her looking like Kaworu. Rei loved Shinji as such she wanted to be with him. well...i think you can piece and patch from there

Ah I heard about that! I just never saw it. I've only seen EoE once and I didn't notice.
I don't think there's any big symbolism in it. I really just think that Anno is just messing with us...again. If it HAD to be there it would be more noticable...kinda like his hate letters...Those really were needed either other to satisfy his own indulgence.
