The extras in the Director's Cut are worth getting, but I still want the single issues too. WHY IS IT SO DAMN HARD TO FIND THEM?!?!?

I actually got the director's cut when getting an autograph from Jhonen himself at a comic store. (pure awesomeness, by the way!!!) I was ten, I think, and getting a Zim DVD signed by teh mastah. xP
My sister got it for us, because it was Jhonen Vasquez, warning me that it'd be creepy.
But I liked it more then her. xD

You have a Zim DVD SIGNED BY JHONEN VASQUEZ?????
OMG! I must say, I envy you so. You know, that's probably going to be the coolest thing you'll ever own.
The JTHM Director's Cut has all the actual JTHM comics, most Happy Noodle Boy strips, sketches, notes, an intro, and early Johnny by JV. It does NOT have Wobbly Headed Bob, True Tales of Human Drama, or any of the Meanwhiles.
Those can be found in the Director's Cut of Squee, along with some Fillerbunny, the rest of the Happy Noodle Boy, and some lovely art by Jhonen's friends.
I hope that helps. Oh, and all this can be found for fairly cheap at Slave Labor's website. I warn you though; unless you're magically across the street from their offices, the shipping will cost nearly as much as the purchase.

It dosnt have all of them, which i was kinda disappointed about, but it has pretty much the main stories from each comic. the plus side of the directors cut is that you get a bunch of other little strips that arent in the other comics and like other people have said theres a nice little interview with JV. so, if you can, id get all the single comics first then the directors cut.

I do love my Jhonen-related merchandise. :] I bought the director's cut first, in a flurry of want, so now I'm buying the separate issues whenever I get the chance. Both are amazing. Both should be purchased. Also, MathiusCronqvist, I like your sig!
