I won't even POST in threads that are suspicious. If they seem like hackers or scammers of some sort, the fact that I post there freaks me out and I'm worried they'll somehow hack me.

I don't know how many people have gotten their accounts hacked without even giving out their password, but I've heard of it happening. So yeah, I'm cautious.

I posted in a thread that was posted by a n00b. They said "HOW DO YOU MAKE EASY MONEY" So I told them their thread was in the wrong forum for one and linked them to a thread that helps you with getting gold. Then I deleted it and posted it under a mule. xp I'm still kinda freaking out. sweatdrop All my gaia gold I've earned with gaia time. (Aside from donations) I don't buy sealeds to sell because I'm flat broke all the time. xp I'm not about to lose all my hard earned gold and items to a hacker. mad

I try to be pretty cautious myself. But I did try to help a friend who was getting hacked by taking all her stuff temporarily. Then she got hacked, and it dawned on me that they could probably hack ME too.

=/ Luckily they didn't. I gave all her stuff back to her new account, then it got hacked like a day later. -_-; Figures, huh?

I try to be pretty cautious myself. But I did try to help a friend who was getting hacked by taking all her stuff temporarily. Then she got hacked, and it dawned on me that they could probably hack ME too.

=/ Luckily they didn't. I gave all her stuff back to her new account, then it got hacked like a day later. -_-; Figures, huh?

Oh! That's why you were being all paranoid about getting hacked. =o

Did she use the same pw for the accounts? I don't know how they can randomly hack you like that... Not without having an idea of what your pw is. She didn't tell any of her friends the pw, did she?
