Fish out of water - Adventure RP (Open and Accepting!)

It had started out as a normal summer vacation, for four friends who had been together since pre-school. They were exploring the ruins on the outskirts of town. But when a lightning bolt struck out of the clear blue sky and zapped the gang into another world, they knew it wasn't going to be a normal summer vacation any more. They've landed in the middle of a war! Somehow, they have to survive and find their way home.....

The Alternative World:
Werthern resembles an Elizabethan city. Electricity hasn’t been invented, and the most common mode of transport (after walking) is the horse and cart. The Werthernians have natural magical abilities, which vary from person to person, but do not include the ability to kill or destroy – they must rely on physical weapons for that. They mostly lived in harmony, farming and fishing, until the Invading Army arrived, intent on plundering their most precious, and hidden, treasure. The Undead have been employed, reluctantly, by the Invading Army after the General made them a promise with no intention of keeping it.

THE RULES:

-Keep it PG-13 - for this RP that means no excessive swearing. Keep it in context.
-NO CYBER at all, don't even hint at it.
-Romance is accepted, even encouraged.
-NO GODMODDING - I am GOD here, and these rules are subject to change at my whim.
-The Gang are human beings from Earth and do not automatically know magic, but they can learn from the Werthernians. Lessons take time, however, at least a day.
-No killing other characters without that character's permission.
-This is a semi-lit RP. Spelling, punctuation and grammar are expected, but you won't be penalised if you get writers block after a one-line entry!

-Let me know if you're going to be away for an extended period. I know we're all likely to be in different time zones, but if you're off for a couple of days, it's only polite.
-Keep it alive. This is my first attempt at running an RP and I don’t want it to die.

Personality/Bio: She grew up as a daughter of nobility in Werthern, but one day her family fell from grace, she’s still unsure of how it happened. As a result her family was exiled to a distant land that seemed uninhabited, now, however, it is clear that it is not uninhabited and that the land has an army growing that is about to invade Werthern. At one point during the early years of her banishment, she went to the leader of the invading kingdom and spoke with him about a job of some sort. She was soon taken under the wing of the court magician of the invading kingdom. She began to learn his ways and soon become as strong as he was. Her talent was recognized and she was asked to work with the kingdom in their invasion of Werthern. As a result, she has traveled back to Werthern and is now the court magician. Because she is older now, she is not easily recognized because all those who knew her parents are dead, and if they aren’t dead, she avoids them and wears a cloak when she travels outside of the castle walls. She is able to communicate using mirrors. It is similar to scrying, but it isn’t seeing into the future. Cassandra is a generally friendly person, even when she has to pretend to be. When she gets angry, however... well... you don't want to get her mad, let's just say that.

Personality/Bio: She is a quiet girl for the most part. But when she has an opoin on something she will come out of her shell. She is strong. Also loyal to her friends, she will do anything for them. Being a werewolf isn't such a bad thing to her. She can decided when she changes. Although this took a long time to master. She has hurt many people in the process and tends to be mad at herself all the time.
